I was very disappointed in the installation of this product. The pictures are very misleading for how it actually works. You will see pics with light strips all around a room, in a car under dash, up at a ceiling going around the room. What is not explained is that each one of those strips needs a power source. All the little shelves with lighting, each need a power source. Each side of the car floorboards needs a power source. While they show the ability to cut them, once you cut, only the strip with power adapter will work. Guess how many power adaptors you get? That’s right, one. Who had power connection in their car on each floorboard? And how many homes have power at the ceiling. While the lights are cool, just know you get one strip that will light up. Choose where you use it with that in mind.

These are beautiful. For the price they are great and look great in my laundry room. The remote is very finicky. Sometimes is glitches. The adhesive only works for about a day so I had to add some command tape to hold them up.

I needed a new set of perimeter lights for my ceiling after the Christmas lights I had strung along my ceiling unfortunately went kaput (as Christmas lights do at the slightest touch) after one of the command hooks it was attached to fell off the wall, causing that section to bump into my TV and that half of the string went out, I tried to fix it, and the rest went out as well...I didn't have luck finding Christmas lights like that at this time of the year, so I came onto amazon and came across these....I'll admit I was a little wary of these since they're a little pricey for the 52' (which isn't one 52' roll but two 26' rolls FYI), but I also needed lights so I took the risk and got them. So far, it's been absolutely WORTH IT!!! They're a little brighter than I thought they'd be (even at the "dimmest" regular setting, but not "night mode"), but not bad. I had a slight issue at first with getting the backing off the adhesive so I could stick it to the wall, but once I got the backing off to expose the adhesive, I was able to stick it with no issues. I included a picture of the lights with the connectors (each string has its own connector), then just a picture of the lights on the lowest regular mode with "warm light", and the last picture is the "night mode" (EDIT: it reversed the order of my pictures after I posted my review, so night mode is first, then lowest regular mode setting, then the connectors). My room is about 10'x11' and I used 1 full roll and a little less than 1/2 of the 2nd roll...apologies for the long winded review, but hope it helps!

This ribbon LED light did a good job of lighting my closet (2 - 6' strips). However, this kit comes with some significant drawbacks. I did not expect to use the whole length, and bought an accessory wiring kit. Unfortunately, it was the wrong one. Too, the leads are soldered to the two reels, so if you cut the ribbon to use in another location, you will need either a solderless connector kit or a soldering iron.My biggest complaint is the delay between powering the system and getting light. This is significantly longer than any other LED I have used.

The remote is great - it easily takes the light strip from dim to really bright for either the cool white or the warm white setting. The best part is that you can choose your perfect setting, and it remembers that setting when turned off/on on a switched outlet.Attached image shows the light strip stapled to the interior drywall of a closet about 7 feet tall and 7 feet wide. The strip was several feet longer than needed, so collected the slack in top middle of closet, stapled back and forth. One staple went down too hard and took out a very small segment - but not the whole unit.

I am using the LED strip to backlight my bathroom mirror after a total bathroom remodel. Looks great!I had trouble pairing the remote to work with the light strip so I sent an email to the Ustarus Team expecting not to hear back. They emailed me immediately with solutions to solve the problem. After a couple back and forth exchanges we determined that I had a bad remote. They offered to replace the strip or refund my money. I decided to keep the strip and use it without the remote as the bright setting looks great backlighting my mirror. The Ustarus Team refunded my money anyway. What a great customer service experience.

These have to be turned on and off every time you use them. There is a timer option and light brightness option, but no memory. I have a new platform bed, wiped metal frame with alcohol before applying lights but they continued to fall off. I ended up having to zip tie them to the frame.

We moved into a new home and my wife wanted over the cabinet rope lighting like we had in our previous.
