I bought these because my PS4 said it was broadcasting in 4k but as soon as I entered a game (Spider Man) my display changed to 1080p. I read into this and found out 3 things about my specific situation. 1. My HDMI cable was inadequate for 4k streaming. 2. My receiver was set to "standard" video. I changed this in setting to 2.2 4k resolution. 3. My PlayStation settings did not check the box for HDCP 2.2(found in "system" setting). I did all these things and Viola. Which is French for now I know. If you're experiencing similar issues make sure all your equipment is HDCP 2.2 compatible. If so, be sure to go into settings and change it. It is not defaulted. This is not plug and play unfortunately. Hope this helps.

What a difference a good HDMI cord works. Ok, so I was having major problems with my PS4 Pro and PS5. I wasn't able to get 4K HDR and I couldn't figure out why. Turns out my older HDMI going from my stereo to the TV needed replacing. Worked flawlessly.

I love this ethernet cord it's great for the PS5 brings out all the vibrant colours good for PS4 as well very good highly recommend
