will buy again
I bought this for a 2017 Chevy Silverado. This blade has held up great in Buffalo NY winters. Works great with all the snow and ice and road salt. will buy again. easy to install. Perfect fit for my truck.

Great wipers
Want Bosch like quality without the Bosch price? Trico is the way! I've been using these for over 5 years and I wouldn't use anything else. They last long hold up under snow ice rain and sleet and even when you can tell they need replaced they still do a good job.

REMOVE THE WHITE PLASTIC ON THE BLADE
Dramatic headline aside, don't forget to remove the white plastic on the wiper blade. I failed to do this step and thought they were junk. Granted, I have never had to remove blade covers on purchased wipers before so I'm not sure why that would have been obvious. I know I should have read the instructions but come on, who has ever read instructions for something that have changed 100 times. Anyway, I finally realized my mistake and they work great now.

Long Lasting
After having these wipers for a record number of years, the rubber started to fall off, so I purchased another pair.No chatter on my Honda Fit, and I look forward to them lasting many years like the previous pair.

Need to zip tie it on. Not for curves.
I question the rave reviews of these trico ice extreme winter wipers as they are good for anything but. I bought and installed them on my Astro about 2 weeks ago in preparation for the winter. First thing I noticed was that it does not hug the windshield as others do well but since it wasn't a very important part of my view I didn't mind. There was no snow or rain and had not had to use them until one day there was slight humidity and I was happy that they functioned better than the old wipers which were shot, so I was easily impressed. The snow finally showed up and after clearing my vehicle off I went to run the wipers and they immediately popped off and the first thing I did was begin recording but my frustration did not allow me to make an acceptable clip in accordance with the community standards. I reinstalled them quite a few times with the same result. The plastic detent that locks onto the pin is not rigid enough to grip it so the blade will release when the snow causes some drag. I did not have time to go fiddling around town looking for replacements. I literally needed to travel in the snow that evening (last evening) with my family. My quick thinking, out of necessity, steered me to some small zip ties in my tool box after inspecting where the malfunction was occurring and seeing that there is a small gap to slide the zip tie through under the pin and back over the assembly. This gave me enough assurance to proceed after a quick test drive. It is not perfect and these will have to be replaced once I can distinguish who's a liar on all the products that Amazon claims fit my vehicle. Don't even get me started on the rear wiper but to be fair I can tell that the wiper arm spring is weak and thus does not maintain good pressure against the rear window. I cannot speak to the other styles of wiper arm but the pin style, or as trico ice extreme winter instructions state "side lock," are absolutely garbage. Don't get these if you have a pin style arm, but if you do, do not use during icy condition (any condition really... except sunny, but not fast though). But if you really want to live on the edge I suggest investing in a Campark mirror cam so that your demise is documented.
