It looks like original equipment, not like a CB antenna. That being said, it's shouldn't be expected to receive/transmit like a trucker's CB antenna. For casual, motorist use, it does a good job. Also, it can be easily unscrewed from its base for car washes and low-ceiling parking garages.

Just received my President Virginia, installed it to my Subaru with a Cobra 25ltd NW. I checked my swr 1:1, 1:1.2 across the band. Got a radio check roughly 5miles away from me saying I was giving them 9lbs on their receive. Keep in mind that you compromise distance with this 1/4 wave antenna. You're not going to be Dx'ing across the country bearfoot unless you have a foot warmer 100watts max. Even then you may or may not get out, all depends on mother nature. This antenna is good for road trips, line of sight communication with other drivers on the road. Astecticly it looks good and it's not screaming cb in your car or truck. I have a nice placement of my radio due to lack of space in the console of my car. Overall it's a very good antenna for my application.

I looked all over for my 'President Andy || CB' an antenna that would work best as a setup. Most Antennas left me unhappy because they were weak and they flew off my car's roof at 30mph. Most important thing is this one can easily withstand 80mph on the highway and I'm confident it can do over 100 mph no stress. Magnet is STRONG. The wire is thinner and length is perfect and tilt can be angled so you can get into your garage. Must tune the President Andy CB and antenna with the 'Workman SWR Meter for CB Radio Antennas SWR2T' If you have an SUV and want to put the antenna all the way back near shark-fin you will need to get the extension wire 'MOOKEERF PL-259 UHF CB Coax Cable 6FT, RG58 PL-259 UHF Male to SO239 Female Low Loss Antenna Extension Jumper Cable ' THis should help you tremendously if you want to get your setup looking sweet.

The cord was too short to mount at the rear roof of my SUV, so I had to order a PL-259 Male to SO-239 Female cord to wire up the CB at the front. SWR at Ch 1 is around 1, 1.5 at Ch 40, and around 1 at Ch 19. Connections at PL259/SO239 are snug without issues.Receive seems good so far, but very condition dependent. I ran my usual course in the city where I do my GMRS tests and got the typical 1/2 mile to 1 mile range I've read from other reviews. I'll reserve judgment on range until after I get some interstate miles on this one.I mounted the antenna at the back right corner of my Jeep Liberty. The magnet is very strong and can be difficult to remove, but that's a good thing. I was worried about how loose the antenna might be at the swivel point, but there are rigid lock points that hopefully won't wear out over time. The height should be fine, but I am going to watch it around low limbs and parking garages.I'm satisfied so far, except for the cable length issue.

This antenna has been on my van for year. I wash my van weekly and have not removed the antenna. It works just the same and it’s not messed up in any manner. It hasn’t moved at all from where I placed it on my van a year ago. Seems quality.

Great for EZ install in today’s cars and trucks. Low profile looks like OEM antenna. Preset SWR, tuned for weather bands as well

This is one incredible pre-tuned CB antenna. Over a six year period I've got two of them, and they both work just fine! I can't say enough good about them!

This antenna is mounted on the roof of my vehicle. Channels 19 through 40 are running swr's of 1.3:1 and less. However, channels 1 through 9 are running swr's starting at over 2.5:1, and drop as the frequency increases. Channels 11 is about where the lowest safe swr's begin.To summarize: the antenna is too short for the lower c.b. radio frequencies.

Petite antenne qui ne déguise pas trop le véhicule. Réception tout de même limité mais fait le travail pour jaser avec les contacts locaux

Mis à jour le 5/08/23(Raccordé à un poste radio CB PRESIDENT BILL II)- Bonne longueur de câble, mais selon la distance entre l'antenne et le poste, il se peux que vous ayez à acheter un prolongateur.- Difficile de donner sa portée, je laisse ça aux spécialistes, mais de mes essais en milieu rural je dirais 2 à 3 km sans trop de soucis. L’environnement et le matériel de celui qui émettra avec vous auront sont influence.- En cas de doute sur l'émission et réception, faite une vérification à l'aide d'un TOS Mètre.

Sehr gute Antenne mit für die Länge gute Reichweite. Vor allem nicht offensichtlich nach CB Funk anzusehen. Bin für meine Zwecke ausreichend zufrieden. Da diese auch schon die zweite ist immer wieder gern. Das Problem mit Magnetantennen Fuß ist der Gummi der mit der Zeit und Witterung austrocknet.
