The crossbow works well but as a beginner I had a hard time understanding the very vague assembly instructions in the box but the seller actually has a YouTube video showing you step by step instructions. I couldn't be happier.

Been a solid crossbow for the price. Shoots fast and accurate.

First off, as other reviews have said, the instructions are garbage; they're not even for this crossbow. They include some generic instructions for an entirely different model. You'll think you have the wrong parts, or something missing but you're probably fine. They actually simplified the construction compared to the one in the instructions so you'll realize pretty quick that it just goes together and has the one bolt to hold it together, and it's solid.I received mine missing one bolt and another was missing the tip (insert included), which could be anything from shipping to assembly line issues, but I contacted the seller, who contacted PSE and informed me they'd be shipping out replacements. I expected to be waiting until after the holidays to receive them and had thankfully ordered some extras when I ordered the crossbow so I wasn't lacking in being able to use it and wasn't too worried about it. The. Next. Day. I received replacement bolts in a nicely packaged box and a nice note apologizing and wishing me happy holidays. I was planning to give this three stars because of how frustrating the instructions made it start off, but this alone gained one star back.Now, onto the crossbow itself, and I saved the best for last. This thing is fantastic, like, beyond fantastic. The build quality is solid, you can tell they've learned from the past versions and models, many things have been improved and corrected. An adjustable stock would have been nice, but I haven't found myself missing it too much yet. Cocking and loading are easy, even if you're not especially strong in the upper body department.Now it fires like a cannon... I didn't expect it to be as powerful as it is, my first shot went straight through my straw bale target and halfway into the sheet metal I had as a wind break behind it a few feet. Despite having just impaled itself six inches into a piece of metal, the bolt was fine, the tip was a little loose... took a heck of a pull to get it out, looks like I shot the metal with a 9mm handgun. Pretty sure I could shoot this thing through the metal entirely if the straw bale wasn't there... kinda want to try it, kinda don't. Anywho, I have four bales in a row at my target area now, and it's still managed to bury itself deep into the third one. Maybe my bales are broken... If I was a hunter I'd be 99% sure I could shoot a bear in the face with this and it would probably only maul me a little bit before it went down. I'll stick to targets and small appliances that have upset me.(In all seriousness, this thing is great, just don't look at the instructions for anything but seeing how to install the piece of plastic that's used as the rail guide/slide, that's literally the only part of them that's useful, the rest is easy enough to eyeball, as long as you don't expect anything beyond that point to be helpful you'll take a lot less time messing with it than I did)

Husband had to have THIS one. Saw it on a you tube channel and it was everything he wanted. Easy to assemble with provided instructions. His new favorite!

This is a well made, powerful and accurate crossbow. Excellent price and excellent quality.

Lil hard assembly but very nice recurve arrows not so much but they’ can be bought but the recurve very nice id buy again just would exspect lil nicer arrows

light weight and very accurate. Grandson age 12 can shoot and cock. highly recommend
