I am relatively new to bread baking. A friend of mine encouraged me to get started. We do enjoy sourdough bread in our family and a slice of a freshly baked loaf is a powerful motivator :) I bought this banneton basket to be able to get this beautiful shape and pattern on my breads.I really liked the pdf instructions that were emailed to me when my item shipped. They were nicely done, easy to understand, with good pictures. Being a novice it was so helpful to be able to read about use and care of this banneton and how/why it works.This proofing basket is nice and sturdy, the materials seem to be of good quality. The cloth liner and a dough scraper that come in this set are a nice addition. I can use the scraper for a lot of things, not only for dough - it is like a huge spatula and the shape is perfect to clean out the round sides of any bowl. The basket came neatly wrapped in tissue paper inside the polybag. White tissue is such a nice touch, makes the whole set look like a nice gift.I’m really excited about my new banneton. This set really is a great buy.

Just received the basket and it looks like a quality product. I look forward to making some fancy bread.It's not something I "need," but it's definitely one of those nice touches that makes you want to practice the craft of bread making.Update:) I used the banneton basket and I love it! The presentation is so much more beautiful! I added a picture which compares a regular loaf and the banneton loaf. Now I wish I had more of them, to make them all like that at the same time. I can also use it as a bread basket after I brush out the flour and line it with a linen napkin. Definitely a fun addition to my kitchen experience!

I really wish there were half stars to give... I love the basket it makes a pretty impression on my bread.... I love the scraper to pull my Dough out of the bowl. It's sturdy yet flexible & works wonders and You no longer get bread dough stuck to your hands 🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽. It's the cloth liner that I don't love.... I flowered it really really well the first time I used it and still my dough stuck....

I don't know how to use it, no directions came with it. The scraper thing works great tho. Kept the scraper, threw out the rest..didn't even make a good fruit bowl.

An excellent addition for the bread maker. Scraper also makes clean up easier.

This was a great deal. I've used the Banneton Proofing Basket with and without the cloth and my bread has turned out very well either way. I actually really like the look of the ridges on the bread that happen when I don't use the cloth (but of course flour the basket before putting dough in it). The bowl scraper works very well and helps both with getting the dough out after proofing and cleaning before washing. I use the bowl scraper when I clean all my bowls now. It really helps with things like brownie mix that usually require a lot of soaking before they're completely clean. As an amateur baker, I definitely think this purchase was worth it.

As someone fairly new to the world of sourdough bread-making, I was happy to find a quality product that gives my bread an artisan look. The PDF that was e-mailed after the product shipped was very clear and thorough and had helpful tips on the use and care of my new Banneton. The bowl scraper was also an added plus and has many other uses in the kitchen. Overall, I was pleased with the quality and packaging of the Banneton and am enjoying this new adventure of making bread! As a seasoned baker, I highly recommend this product.

Very pleased with my new proofing basket! It has taken me to a different level of satisfaction in my sourdough bread baking. Feeling fancy as my bread bakes with the wonderful circular pattern--looks professional. I flour the basket well before each proofing and the dough releases easily as I put it on baking surface. I will definitely be purchasing more of these. I think the oval basket would be nice too. The bonus dough scraper is awesome! What a difference it has made in working with my dough--not sure how I did it without it!
