Packaging flimsy, oats pretty good
A relative picked up a 2.6 Lb container of Amazon Saver Old Fashioned Oats for me when he picked up groceries at a local Amazon Fresh store. The oats were tasty and very comparable to the national brands. I ordered some more when I ran low on oats, but I ordered them online. They came without a lid, but I used the lid from the original container. I note that the container is pretty flimsy, but they have to cut corners somehow.Overall these oats are decent product, but I do wish they came in a sturdier container, and I do note that some other reviewers also didn't receive a lid or the package arrived open, so there's a change if you order online, you may have to contact Amazon for a replacement.

Excellent healthy breakfast for great price
I give my 99 year old step dad every morning for his breakfast add some fresh fruit on top. Great health benefits and all you do is just add boiling water and he loves it. Excellent size for the price. Plus tastes great.

It's what's for breakfast. Delicious, healthy, inexpensive, and a cinch to prepare. I put 6 heaping tablespoons of oats into a large bowl, add a cup of unsweetened almond milk, microwave unattended for 5 minutes, add dried cranberries and cinnamon, and eat. The only "work" is washing out the bowl.

For homemade granola
I make all of my own granola which I eat 5-6 days per week. This large size box of oatmeal is affordable and I like the taste.
