Well thought out. Great with Ram Mount
Like that Spigen use an adhesive pad to fasten the MagSafe “puck” into the holder very securely. Others just try and squeeze the outside diameter of the charger and it can gradually work its way out with vibration. Some I have tried also damage the MagSafe charger finish trying to get a secure grip by friction alone. Can confirm that current production has the smaller top bezel to avoid conflict with the iPhone 13 mini camera bump. Perhaps someone else can confirm that this has also solved the problem with the pro models. I have a car with VERY stiff (auto cross) suspension and the Pennsylvania roads are atrocious. With an Apple leather case and (the slightly weaker magnetically) Mous case, have had no problems with my 13 mini falling off the mount. I do use a lanyard with the Mous case which I hook over the mount to increase the chances of still being able to find my phone in the event of an accident. Not a great fan of vent mounts (they are always floppy and restrict ability to direct airflow where you want it) but the lockable “claw” on this holder is one of the better, more secure designs.I now combine this holder with a 17mm to 1 inch ball adapter that fits right in the socket on the back once the vent mount is removed. The 1 inch ball then clamps right into a Ram or similar mounting system. Most of the negative reviews of this product seem to be as a result of the requirements of the charger and not this mount which is a little unfair. To use it successfully you will need:1. An Apple MagSafe charger. The holder is sized specifically for the Apple unit. Spigen make their own integrated MagSafe mounts if you don’t need the faster charging of the Apple unit2. A USB-C PD 9volt capable power source. Very few cars have USB-C built in yet so you will need the sort of power adapter that plugs into your 12volt (cigarette lighter) socket.3. To read the instructions and remove the film from the adhesive pad before inserting the charger!🙄MagSafe makes much more sense to me as a car mount than as a regular charger. At home, plugging in a cable is easier, cheaper, charges faster and creates less heat. In the car though, having a single handed magnetic mount that also charges is great. Have tried several other MagSafe holders and this is the most secure and quality for the money so far.

Perfect for charging while on the go!
I was using a Magsafe car mount previously and always had to plug my phone in, for a gig driver this is very inconvenient. I already had an Apple Magsafe puck charger that I never used, so I decided to give this a try. While delivering for Amazon Flex it is amazing, it holds up over rough roads, easy to pull off and put back on during the deliveries, and it's always charging in between stops without having to plug it in all the time! This was a great idea by the manufacturers!

Works w/ Apple Magsafe 2
This will fit the new 2024 apple magsafe 2 charger capable of 25 watt wireless fast charging. It fit mine perfectly like it was made for it.

minimalist solution for a phone car mount
Nice little device. It clips onto my car dash vent and holds the magsafe charger firmly. It does sometimes swing/tilt to either side, but that's kinda helpful for the passenger so I don't mind. I don't worry about my phone falling off, or the charger falling out. It should be noted that you can't remove the charger once it's stuck in like I had planned to use it. (well you can, but then the sticky won't be good enough anymore) and yes, the charger doesn't come with it, so when you order this, make sure to also order the charger and a cigarette lighter adaptor if your car doesn't have a usb port. My husband liked this setup so much he ordered one for his own car! No more fiddly cradle arms or tricky release buttons. If you have a mag-capable phone, this is a great solution to buy.

Guys, it's useless. No USB-C in car. Not enough watts to charge using MagSafe.
I bought this for my girlfriend's car since she got an iPhone 12 and has a MagSafe charger beside her bed. I thought, how great to replace the old clunky car clamp mount she had.The Spigen Mag Fit installed just fine in the vent. My Apple OEM MagSafe charger fit fine. But then I want to plug it in. USB-C!!!! Duh! It's a 2019 Highlander XLE. The car has two USB type A ports in the center console, each rated for 2.1 amps (see photo). That's 10.5 watts. Not only do all MagSafe chargers have USB-C, but they require 15 watts to work!I scoured the web for a USB-C to USB type A converter. There's plenty. None of them work with MagSafe because they only deliver the same 10.5 watts. When plugged in, the MagSafe doesn't light up and won't charge the phone. This makes this product entirely 100% useless junk. Might as well just get a regular MagSafe magnetic mount that is not supposed to charge. Waste of money.

Works with 2024 MagSafe Charger*
The new MagSafe charger for iPhone 16s is thinner and smaller. You will see small gaps if you use the new charger. The mount has adhesive that holds the charger to the mount so it will work.

Decent
Had to buy the magnet separately the vent clip comes off the vent no matter how tight you get it. Other than that, it is good quality and has made it an easy place to put my phone while driving.

The sum is greater than the parts
I liked the simplicity of the product. I initially used it in ‘vent’ mode but didn’t like that it blocked the vent. I purchased an AMPS 17mm ball mount and a Proclip mount to put it all on. The Spigen easily attached to it and everything is rock solid with 15 watt charging thanks to my 20 watt Amazonbasics charger. Now I can charge my phone without plugging it in, and don’t have to manipulate a cradle. Additionally, it’s rock solid despite potholes and hard acceleration. The only thing I forgot was to purchase wire guides to make it a bit cleaner. Convenience and functionality!
