A Moonlight Book: Halloween Hide-and-Seek Hardcover – August 11, 2015

My kids have loved these since the age of 3. Three years later they still like to search for things before bed times every now and then. Flashlight is a bit short, but we just shake the book to slide it back out.

My nephew LOVES this book! He loves the little “flashlights” to find the objects. Such a cute book for little ones who are at the age to find objects!!

This is a seek and find book. As you turn the page you are provided a list of objects to find using the built in "flashlight." I initially thought you were supposed to use your own flashlight to view a hidden picture, but they provide one. The flashlight is a piece of thin cardboard with a white tip that helps illuminate the picture as you move it around. You can see the picture without it; it really just makes it clearer. There are only four flashlight seek and finds in the book, the first and last set of pages do not have this feature. It's a cute idea and fun for kids to seek and find things, just don't expect this to have any sort of story to read. Also, the flashlight can easily be lost inside the page causing you to have to dig it out constantly. I wouldn't recommend for under three without supervision as the flashlights can easily be removed and damaged. We will enjoy this book, but it wasn't quite what I was expecting.

My three year old is really into flashlights and monsters. We have enjoyed this book and keep it in the car for longer car rides. I would suggest supervision while playing with it though because the movable 'flashlights' might be ripped out of the book by an overexcited child=)

My grandson (18months) loved spending time looking for flashlight images!

Bought this for my 3 year old. The book is cute but the flashlights can be frustrating because they get lost in the pages so easily. Would have given this 5 stars if the flashlights were a little bit longer.
