Okay ok aluminum not recommended for any type of steel
Cheap steel and isn't too good with aluminum as it sticks to it and gets hot, I've burned through a few of the bits already don't recommend on steel

Cut well!!
I have used one of the step drills and two of the countersinks so far.They cut metal very well.

Ok so these are unlikely to help you bust into Fort Knox. I have used them to make and enlarge holes in brass, aluminium, steel, wood, and even plasterboard. Such items don't last forever on metals but do last a long time for other purposes. Made an 18mm hole in 10mm thick aluminium without too much trouble and they proved excellent for enlarging holes in plasterboard to install better fixings than the previous homeowner had used. Only real niggle was that the case could be better- some of the bits refused to stay in their allotted spaces.

This review is after 9 months of working with these bits and still working like brand new. They’re really sharp and pretty solid and for this price it’s amazing. Highly recommend it!
