With changing mattress and box spring sizes - especially deeper mattresses, low profile box springs are used to keep the overall height of the box spring and mattress from being too high. Encasement manufacturers haven't kept pace with some of the common sizes. This product was the only one I could find for my low profile 5" box spring. It fits well, and the quality appears to be OK. It was a little difficult to put on, but that is not unusual for encasements. As far as durability goes, time will tell, but it appears to be much better than a box spring encasement I purchased from another company specializing in allergy-related products. That encasement ripped immediately as it was being put on. This SafeRest encasement looks like it is made out of sturdier material.

I purchased a 4” low profile box spring for a convertible crib/toddler/full size bed frame. This cover fits the 4” box spring very well and it seem like it’s made well. I did not test it to see if it was waterproof but I assume it is. Mostly I like having a cover I can wash to keep things clean and dust free. It serves that purpose perfectly. It seems like it will add life the the box spring because it will stay clean.

Just put this on the boxspring . it was hard to find the correct size but as usual, Amazon had it. Cannot rate the product as of yet since we just put it on the bed. It was very easy with the zipper going around the entire boxspring.

To go on my new boxspring. I live in a Senior Home and they have had problems with bed bugs so I wanted to buy the best and I feel I have. I want have to be concerned now.
