I was looking for some winter pants for a winter vacation coming up next year. The normal waisted was perfect. Just what I was looking for. Great quality, comfortable and very warm. I don’t think I will need a base layer when wearing these pants. I bought another one in a different color. Highly recommend!

This pant is my favorite. It is durable, keeps you warm, dry in cold wet season, strong enough to crawl on the ground to work, the zipper will keep your phone and stuff safe inside this deep pockets and it looks like a dress pant. And a TMI but I'll tell you if you fart No One will smell it. They can hear it but NONE SHALL SMELL IT. For hiking is great but in hot condition is kinda terrible. You'll look dry as can be but inside you're drench. Just FYI.

Everything is okay

Well constructed. Should last a very long time.Purchased the 32" waist/32" inseam. Would have preferred a 31" waist (not offered) since 30" turned out to be too small for me, while 32" felt oversized but at least it fit. As far as cut and finish, the photos on the product page are accurate: this is NOT a contoured cut, it is practical and looks like "Dad pants."Manufacturer's tag claims there's slimming through seat and thigh - which again wasn't quite my sensation but I guess the degree of slimness is a judgment call.I wanted these to wick away moisture a bit better. After my couple hours' active use I noticed an object held in my pants pocket was unexpectedly wet from perspiration, and the fleece side of the fabric felt slightly dampish. Not a dealbreaker, though; they kept me comfortably warm.I see competitor products in the same price range, so I'll continue to shop for my best but till then, these will serve me well during our cold Minnesota winter.

• A disposable tag on the pants say they are Windproof, Elastic and Waterproof, no permanent tag that says this 
• Advertised as high-waisted, seems like one inch higher, not uncomfortably high unless you normally wear your pants really low, not an issue for me• Adjustable velcro waist straps• Belt Loops• To be worn with long johns or underwear, would be snug if you want to wear pants underneath• The shell of the fabric is soft, not stiff which usually makes jackets or pants noisy
• I find these pants fitted in the seat, hips and thighs, and the fabric does not rub, there is no swishing sound from the thighs• I get a swishy sound as the pant cuffs rub once in a while because they are wider for going over ski boots, not a deal breaker (not George Constanza suit swishy)• 4 Pockets, 2 Front, 2 Back and all four zipper close• If you want cargo pockets, look elsewhere• Zipper pulls are reflective• Articulated knees• Fabric does flex for freedom of movement• Pant Cuffs are 23 cm (9 in) wide• Do they fit over ski boots... yes they do• Do not know about snowboard boots• Pants do not have leg vents• Pants do not have gaiters, snaps or zippers on the leg cuffs• There is a hard plastic loop in the front near the left pocket, probably can be used to hook a carabiner on• All pockets and inside pants are fleeced linedCons• Would have been better if pockets were smooth nylon instead of fleece, easier to put things in and take out• You choose by waist size and inseam length based on their chart, pants delivered will come with a tag that says S, M, L, etc• This means their selection of pants is not as granular as you think, a conversion is being done from the numbers you provide and it is a hit or miss if they fit like they were tailored, OK or they drag on the ground• This is why reviews and answers about fit is all over the map• You want a tailored experience, take them to a tailor or put a crowbar in your wallet for out of the box fits like a glove pants• It is the seller and/or website owner who are getting a tailored experience because you are providing measurements that are closest to what you normally wear and you get a generic S, M, L, etc in returnFinal Thoughts• Disappointed pants are not as tailored as advertised, inseam wise• They fit good in the waist, seat, hips and thighs, not baggy so no swishy sound when walking, cuffs brush occasionally which is to be expected since they need to be large enough to fit over ski boots, not constantly brushing and is a non-issue• Pants were warm and dry while skiing for 4 days• Length of pants can be tailored, no elastic gaiters, zippers or button clasps on the cuffs, this would prevent tailoring• Like that there are 4 pockets, all zipper close• Would prefer the pockets to be nylon instead of fleece to put things in easier and take out• These are inexpensive, warm and fit well, a recommended buy• If these pants were as granular as advertised I would give it 5 stars, truth in advertising––––––

Great product that keeps you warm and dry.

Do you know what happens when you buy these pants? You will wear them when it rains, you will wear them when it snows, you will wear them when it's cold, you will even wear them to job interviews — and then to work everyday afterward!

The pants are comfortable. As stated the inseam is long. All my jeans are 30 in. The 30in inseam on these pants are about an inch to long. I think the next size smaller 28 would be an inch to short. Why not make them like any other 30 in inseam?
