Bright bulb
This is the vendor-recommended replacement bulb for our Minka Aire Concept II fan, also purchased at Amazon. The only caution I give you is that --sometimes-- the metal threaded piece can remain inside the bulb socket, and you may not even realize it, until you go to put a new bulb into your fixture. I ran into this, and didn't notice the problem, but when I called Minka customer service, they pointed out that this happened from time to time, and once I removed the metal sleeve from the socket, all was well.The clear bulb is much brighter than the frosted version, behind the opaque glass of the fan lightshade, FYI. I've seen complaints about the bulb not lasting as long as it should--I don't remember how long my last one was in, though, but I often wonder if using it dimmed has anything to do with its lifetime.

Works great
There must been some sort of manufacturing problem WITH ANOTHER BRAND of 120V Halogen bulbs, a nice name brand, in fact, several of them burned out in between two days and two weeks. Normally they last about a year in my ceiling fan. I even had an electrician in, assuming something was wrong with my house or my ceiling fan, but there wasn't. So I tried these bulbs, and they work great. They've been in for a few months now and still going strong.

Good for minka Aire fan replacement
Unfortunately I'm stuck using halogen for my minka fan. I wish there was led version as I'm sure this won't last long. Bulb fit and no problems. With any halogen make sure not to touch with your hands. Put it on with a tissue. If you get any oils on it it can overheat.

Not what it says it is, but the bulb seems to work
I ordered the Blubrite product and received something else - a different brand. I tried to contact the seller and they never replied to me. The reason I'm giving the rating of 3 is because the bulbs that I received seem to be working in my ceiling fan. I would have given a 1 for two reasons (Different brand of product than what is listed and bad customer service ignoring my contacting them). But the bulb is working for now - Not enough time has passed to see if it's lifespan is better or worse than the bulbrite brand..
