Fairly durable - 6-9 months
Like the headline says, lasts about 6-9 months in an apc backup battery- a lot less in power wheels and other lead acid motorized vehicles for kids.

Excellent set of batteries at a great price
Excellent set of batteries at a great price! I have the Razor Ground Force Go Kart that had some bad batteries. I was able to get it back up and running with these and they have worked very well. I was able to drive for close to 15 minutes on these and I weigh about 160 lbs. These did not come with the wiring harness, so you will have to use your old one. Also note that the old ones may be soldered on. It is VERY important to make sure that you hook the batteries up correctly. There is a pair of red and black wires for each battery. The black wires are negative and the red wires are positive BUT you also must not mix the pairs up. So, besides making sure that you connect them to the right colors, you have to make sure each set is going to the right battery. If I remember right, when you are looking at the plug, the left side of terminals should go to one battery and the right set of terminals should go to the other battery. The Go Kart uses these batteries in series, so if you plug the wrong black cable to the negative terminal on the wrong battery (or red wire to the positive on the wrong battery) then it can spark, catch fire, etc. So, just make sure that you connect them correctly.

Perfect - AFTER a trip to the hardware store!
Assuming you found this while searching for replacment batteries for your kid's Razor Dune Buggy, there is ONE IMPORTANT THING TO KNOW: The original batteries are SOLDERED to the wires on the Dune Buggy. There are more expensive batteries that come with a wiring harness, but on those, you still get stuck with "verify that the connector matches" type warning. These batteries work fine - AFTER you've made a trip to the hardware store for some of those little push-on connectors that you simply crimp to the wires. The ones I got were called "Disconnect Pairs" 16 - 14 Gauge. It took just a few minutes to snip and strip the wires from the batteries and crimp these new connectors in place. Once you've done this, future batteries should be much easier to install. I had no issues with these batteries after the install.

Works perfect in Razor Dune Buggy
The batteries come as expected, work great. For the price you can't complain too much. The batteries have lasted a long time between charges too.Only issue is, as others have stated, you need to cut and splice the original Razor Dune Buggy cables for use on these batteries. For $3 at Lowe's you can get the adapters that slide over the connectors on the battery. You also need to cable tie or zip time or Gorilla tape the batteries together for ease of handling the two at the same time.Don't spend the $65 from Razor or anywhere else for 7Ah batteries when these 8Ah batteries for $35 do as good or better job.
