WINSINN 30mm Dual Cooling Fan 3007, 3.3V/5V, 4-Pack, Suitable for Raspberry Pi & Single-Board Computers

The 5V 30mm Fans did include hardware and Dupont connectors for easy connections. This is no longer the case; the screws and nuts for mounting are not included and the connectors are JST - XH.These fare are still a great value, but they should update the description.

I received these fans today and within a few minutes I had one installed in my Pi 3B+. I had to modify my pi 3B+ case to fit the fan using a razor knife and some small hobby files. I'm running pi-hole with DHCP enabled and Unbound installed. The fan dropped my runtime temperature by 30* F. The fan is a bit noisier that the fan on my Pi4, but it is not too distracting. Overall I'm pleased with the results.

I bought this set of five 30mm cooling fans to replace noisy and failing (squalling bearing) cooling fans in two Raspberry Pi cases. The brushless motor and hydraulic bearing features are what attracted me to these fans. Slightly louder on low voltage speed setting than 30mm previous fans but still tolerable. Good value for the money!UPDATE 12/03/2020: Changing my review rating to ONE STAR. Both of the new WINNSINN 30mm Cooling Fans #3007 that I installed in two Raspberry Pi cases to replace the failed OE cooling fans have failed already. In less than a week both new WEINSINN 3007 fans exhibit bearing squall noise. I contacted WINSINN direct to ask for replacements. Sent video of the failing fans along with my replacement request to confirm failure. No reply from WINNSINN. So, I requested return and refund from Amazon. Amazon processed the refund immediately.

They only lasted a few months, yes 24/7 but should have done better.

I think I reviewed these favorably before, but that is changing. The first I used lasted a few months, but then died. The remaining ones have lasted less than a week each. These are screwed into a case that sits on my TV stand. Nothing moving or banging on the Pi case.

This fan was perfect for what I needed. It was thin enough to fit in a tight spot and works well.

These are a great value. Noise is slightly quieter than other generic sleeve bearing fans.These use hydraulic bearings and should last significantly longer. So far it's working great. At this price, this is the best deal on a non-ball bearing fan.

I purchased these to keep my raspberry pi 4 cool, which they seem to do, until they stop working. My first fan lasted about 2 weeks before it became very noisy. The second lasted about 1 week. Rather than trying the third, I think I'll buy some better fans.

Most of these fans are suitable replacements for Raspberry Pi Coolers but there have been a couple of unbalanced fans which, apart from unwanted noise, vibrate themselves to early failure. I suspect that is micro damage to a fan blade between the manufacturer's quality control and installation. These fans need handling with care to avoid damage. The damage may be invisible to the naked eye.

Bought to replace a sleeve bearing fan supplied with a Raspberry Pi case for which the bearings lasted only a few weeks even being run slow. This is a proper ball bearing fan which should last for months at least, and I have four spares! It will run off 3.3V or 5V so you have the option via the Pi's GPIO of running super quietly on the lower voltage if you like - and I do like!

Bought for Raspberry Pi4b, as previous heatsink fans had become noisy. These have been in use for ~3 months and have also become noisy. Difficult to find a decent fan that will just work!
