Unique photographic look at a different side of celebrities.
Jean Pigozzi is the rare photographer who has both a great eye and talent with the camera and also access to a set of people most of us only see on the screen. Through this book which captures what is obviously a very interesting life lived, Jean captures everyone from Bono to Jack Nicholson to DVF in a way we have never seen them before - lounging around the pool, having a good time. By the end of this, you'll find yourself wanting an invite to one of his pool parties too.Highly recommended.

VERY SMALL, not a coffee table book
Interesting book, but not a coffee table book as I expected, it's very small and looks insignificant, not something I would pick up to look through if I saw it on someone's table...

Not Impressed
It is a small book and not impressive looking like the other posts have said.Cool enough looking cover, and I thought the book would be filled with cool European girls in bikinis but that is not what you get. Only a few photos of interesting looking girls or girls in bikinis. The rest of the photos not really so good.

Smaller than expected, still great content.

Now this is what I call " researchable footage"
Ethnographers will be able to study these snapshots; this is what I love about M. Pigozzi's oeuvre: there is truth in the details, formally expressed and magically, also implied. Brilliant work.

Gute, authentische schwarz-weiß-Fotografie
Ich habe die Berliner Ausstellung von Jean Pigozzi besucht. Sie hat mir sehr gut gefallen. Zur Abrundung und als Erinnerung habe ich dann vorliegendes Buch gekauft.
