Update: I can’t believe my playful bouncy 15 year old cat was once diagnosed with stage 3 CRF. After a year on this formula her bloodwork is perfectly normal. She also gets her sub-q fluids but there was no dramatic improvement until she started on this formula a year ago. Her daughter is also doing great despite just undergoing treatment for hyperthyroidism which is hard on the kidneys. She has gained back all her lost weight.

Arrived quickly. Like that it has NASC seal for quality. For small, elderly cat trying half capsule 2x daily. Capsules are small, but can easily twist open to sprinkle on wet food. Mixes in well, cat gobbles it up. Will increase to full capsule and see how it goes. Looked at a number of products for renal help for cats, chose this for the variety of ingredients to aid in renal care and the ability to administer easily. Will take time to see its effectiveness, hence only four stars at this time, but feel it will help over time.

Capsules are a pain in the ass to open. But my cat is drinking less water. So we will see.

We as "hoomans" love to keep our pets as healthy as we can, and I was happy when I saw this product. The instructions of dosage are well explained, and the powder comes with a small handled scoop, that you can sprinkle in your cats food. I guess in the long run we may never know if these supplements are actually helping, but I feel better in trying. By providing your cat with the extra RX Vitamins as illness prevention, we may be helping with their maintenance of a healthy immune system. The cat has some health challenges that all can lead to liver and kidney issues. I'm trying several things along with diet shifts and trials. There is no way that the cat will ever swallow a capsule. I take the capsule and mix it with a tasty liquid supplement, and deliver the mix with a syringe. He handle that well, and seems to be doing well with it. The capsule blend tastes like a good blend, with herb flavor. Not a mix of flavorless powder. I'm optimistic. The formula looks mild and good for anyone's health. I'll continue to add this into his daily routine. I have tried several products from this brand and so far I am happy with most of them. I should say the cat is tolerant and doing well with most of them. 5 stars
