Leggett & Platt Head Board Brackets Twin XL. The Leggett & Platt Head Board Brackets are necessary to attach a headboard to a bed frame, or adjustable bed, but not a complete bed. Split King size beds are comprised of two Twin XL sized beds, so the Twin XL sized bracket is what's used for that size. Comes with: 2 Sets of brackets. Hardware pack (necessary bolts to attach brackets). Important Information. Headboard brackets cannot be used with glides or screw-in locking casters. Comes with Prodigy, Scape, and designer series adjustable base types, not with the others.
