Schoppel-Wolle Zauberball

I love long color repeat yarn- there are so many creative ways to use it so that the colors do more than just make stripes. Anyhow, this is a nice variation on that theme. I'm making a circular feather and fan shawl (Hemlock Ring) and it looks really cool. I'm on my 3rd ball and haven't run into a single knot, which is always nice. The yarn has a smooth, crisp finish but is still pretty soft. I think it would wear well for socks.

Great fun to knit. Nice progression of colors. I have washed and dried the socks made of it and they seem fine Its a single ply so twists up a bit while you are working but not too badly..

I chose this yarn to make my 14 year old granddaugter some fingerless gloves so that she could continue txting all winter without having her hands be cold. I am very pleased with the way the yarn worked up and the beautiful vivid colors. I have been complimented severaly times from people asking me where didi I get my yarn. Always say how beautiful it is. I would deffinetaly recommend this yarn to others.

arrived promptly. just as described

I've never bought an unfamiliar yarn online before but I thought I'd try it and since Amazon is the best! I could return it if I wasn't happy. Well, sure enough I wasn't happy and sure enough returning this ball of yarn was not a problem. I didn't like the yellow. It was icky for lack of a more descriptive term. Kind of greenish yellow. Like it got seasick. I would have just cut out the yellow section but this ball seemed to be yucky yellow with a couple of nice colors thrown in. These are cool colors rather than warm tones, just so you know.The ball came in its own plastic wrap within a small cardboard box. I was sorely tempted to stuff it into a regular mailer envelope but I didn't because someday I might be the recipient of such a mistreated skein and I'll be unhappy about that, too. Good luck with your purchase and your project, from one yarny to another lol
