does this have inappropriate questions for 12 year olds?

I think it is ok for a 12 year old. There may be a couple questions that dont apply like "what did I name my first car?" and a couple questions about dating like what was your first date or dream date, but nothing very adult. I would order it and just take a look a the questions once you get it. Chances are they may be a couple like I mentioned above you may want to pull.

Absolutely! It can be modified to play with two players so that you compete against each other instead of as a team. All of the same rules will apply except for the scoring. Only 1 player will score per round. If a blue card is pulled, the opponent will try to match the answer of the person with the blue board. If they match it, they get a point. If not, they lose the round. Alternate between colors for question cards! First to 7 wins.
