On Stage SMS6000 Adjustable Monitor Stands (Pair)

One of the bases are built wrong. The holes are on the sides instead of top and bottom! Sending back. No time for this.

I’ve had a few speaker stands in my time and can say these are a notch above the rest. These have a very nice and secure way of keeping the height up with that security piece plus twistable thingy. I tried to shake it and it did wobble a bit but probably cuz my floor is uneven so I twisted the floor pieces a tad an levelled it out and it’s perfectly sturdy now with no real chance of falling over. It seems less sturdy just eyeballing it but when you actually try to wobble or move it it stays really steady and good. These cost me a little more than my old stands but I think the price difference is worth it due to these being superior.

Pésima calidad y pésima ingeniería, literal estos stands son una porquería los compre hace unos 4 meses y uno de ellos empezo a ceder hacia un costado, en cuanto lo regrese a su lugar el tubo se soltó completamente de la base, por suerte alcancé a detener mi monitor mientras se movía porque pudo resultar en una tragedia. Me di cuenta que sólo los tubos estan soldados en 4 puntos a una base gris muy pequeña que se puede ver en la foto y que no tiene nada de sentido. Es como poner tu monitor en una torre de palitos de madera. Una porquería! No tiren su dinero a la basura.

The only "critique" and why I gave it a 3* is because one of the stands was scratched. Would have likely given 4.5* even though that doesn't exist. So much for quality control before shipping. It's the one common complaint I see in Amazon although I highly doubt it's Amazon's fault. I used a black marker to fill in the scratches and it's only noticeable at a close distance. Turn the post around and problem "solved". You'll see in the photos my touch up (not the greatest). Too much hassle to return. I use these stands for my HEAVY YAMAHA HS8 studio monitors.

Son buenas bases para el precio, se pueden estabilizar el nivel con las patas que tienen, aunque el ajuste de las alturas son fijas, me hubiera gustado que tubieran mas alturas a regular, pero encontre una que me viene bien 2 cm de mas alto de como deberian de estar los monitores de audio, estoy usando los HS7 de Yamaha y resiste muy bien el pero aunque si se sale ligeramente de las bases, pero es muy poco
