So, I've been a faithful user of Clarity's product for quite some time. When my trusty old bottle finally ran out, I thought, "Why not order a new one from the Clarity store on Amazon?" The promise of free shipping with Prime and speedy delivery seemed like a no-brainer. Well, as it turns out, it wasn't as smooth as I hoped.No extra packaging to shield my purchase – just the item itself, adorned with a big, unsightly barcode sticker. It honestly looked so dirty when I first laid eyes on it. It was disheartening, to say the least :(Decided to take matters into my own hands, thinking I could peel off that eyesore of a barcode sticker. Huge mistake. That thing was practically glued on with superglue, and my attempt at a quick fix ended up peeling off some of the bottle's letters. Now, every time I grab my daily go-to, I'm confronted with this unpleasant sight. :(As someone who relies on this product day in and day out (it usually lasts me a few months), this experience has seriously put a damper on my satisfaction. I'm not sure if the blame lies with Amazon or Clarity, but either way, I'm left feeling very dissatisfied.

The ClarityRx Get Balanced Face Serum is really good stuff. It's not thin like some other serums I have tried. This one has texture and body that's viscous and substantial. It goes on smoothly and feels cool and soothing upon application. There is a faint scent of sweet rose that's pleasant. It soaks into the skin, providing instant hydration that makes my face appear quenched and healthy without being greasy. It smooths evenly over my face, diminishing the look of fine lines.I love how luxurious and pampering the serum feels. Don't mistake this gel serum for what it is, or isn't. Probiotic serums are marvels for the skin, but this serum isn't a substitute or does the same thing as a regular moisturizer, so don't dismiss it for not producing the same results. The clear serum is thick almost stringy out of the bottle. But, don't be fooled. It thins out as it's spread on the face and really soaks in. There's no sheen, or dewy look as with toners and moisturizers. so don't expect it. But skin is left smooth, soft and less lines/wrinkles, with subtle, matte moisture appearance.I'm a huge fan of probiotics and take them daily as supplements in smoothies, capsules, powder form, Greek yogurt, etc. There are endless ways to benefit gut health and skin with probiotics. No surprise that the skincare industry caught on to the trend and now includes it in their products.Probiotics are live bacteria and yeasts that are good for all skin types, but especially beneficial to those with chronic inflammation. They feed healthy bacteria to balance the skin's pH and protect against free radical damage to give a healthier appearance to skin. In this case, the serum is not in place of or competes with the effects of toners and moisturizers. It's in addition to those steps. My skin looked smoother, but this is just the first step in layering additional products over the serum. The ingredients are excellent, but quite common, and known to treat wrinkles and fine lines, but the moisture effect is more subtle. NO FRAGRANCE OR SKIN IRRITATION. It works, but is pricey.Can you do the same thing more cheaply? Yes. The ingredients can be found in many skincare products, or individually for less than this serum. Not sure what makes it so expensive. Hyaluronic Acid, glycerin, sweet almond oil, probiotics, and anti-inflammation extracts are all inexpensive by themselves. Even homemade Greek yogurt masks are excellent with Manuka honey. The point is that this product works, but personally I wouldn't re-order it at this price given the ease of buying such well-known ingredients commonly obtained at a lesser prices. Maybe if I used this serum over time, I might discover it has some long-term magical powers worth the price, but that seems unlikely. It's perfectly fine, but not almost $100 worth, and the company seriously needs to list all the ingredients on the buy page for customers to think it's worth it.

It only takes two or three drops to cover my face, so it is cost effective in that regard. The formula is like magic. It helps the dry areas of my face while calming the excessive oiliness in other areas. It is a great first step to use in the morning before my other skincare and makeup. And at night, it protects my skin from any irritation caused by my pillow case. I have noticed such a difference in the appearance of my skin when I first wake up after using this treatment. It has been so beneficial to the overall health of my skin.
