Good item, well it works as expected and is plug and play worth the money depending on what is your budget

I use this mic mainly for calls with my friends, so nothing professional. The sound quality is... surprisingly good. It's better than other, more expensive microphones I've had in the past. However, there's no actual volume control - you have to set that manually in Windows. Looks-wise, it's nothing special - just a cheap microphone. Cable length is standard, about the same length as you'd normally see on a USB Keyboard. The button on the microphone is annoying though - it completely turns off the mic. Like, windows WILL NOT see it. It would be much more useful as a mute button, and if you're expecting a mute button, it'll take a little to get used to the fact that it's NOT a mute button. I've had some issues with it randomly making me sound quieter or robotic, but I usually fix them by either unplugging and replugging, or simply slamming the base of the mic onto my desk pretty hard. No, that's not a joke, either - it works. Overall, great mic for a low price.

For the money, this is great value. My son is just starting a YouTube channel and he wanted something to use for voiceover. For 12 quid this is perfect, sound quality is good, seems robust too, it’s been dropped and bashed a lot and still works. Easy to use, just press the button, light goes red and you’re off!
