Pages hold up to markers, but are very smooth and less than expected
Pros: The shade of tan is nice, the pages don't bleed through when using Sharpies or alcoholic pens, and the cover is just flexible enough to be comfortable in your lap!Cons: It says 128 pages- it's 64 sheets. The page count includes both sides, which is misleading, especially for an art journal. The pages themselves are very smooth, on par with printer paper, which doesn't make for a very satisfying drawing surface.Overall, I probably won't be buying it again. The price is too high for me for the amount of workspace, and the smoothness just isn't enjoyable to draw on. If you prefer aesthetics over page quantity, you might like this more than I did.

Daughter is a budding artist, very young but she did her homework on this pad and she said it’s GREAT and she wishes I invested in this for her sooner. Her art pens, liners etc, work beautifully on this pad with no bleeding and her tools work smoothly on the paper, will be having to purchase another one very soon.

Gorgeous sketchbook.
I recently started using tanned paper to draw on and this is great to have in my bag for when I'm waiting for the bus as I can just fit it in my bag!
