If you can feel it sting the hair follicles you'll know it's working
Man does this thing work! I have pale skin and dark hair and this thing really works well. I also have the Remington iLight Pro face and body IPL (which isn't a laser) and I use that for larger areas like my legs and I've tried it on my face, armpits, and genital area and it seems to do a good job on those places except my face, and on reddish hairs. I decided to finally purchase the Tria because it boasts 4x the power than it had before-- and MAN DOES IT HURT! BUT BEAUTY IS PAIN I GUESS 😂. I finally see results on my face-- I have a few thick hairs on my chin that may have been too deep in my skin for the IPL to reach but the Tria laser got those. The Tria laser has a smaller treatment window so I can also get a more acurrate treatment on my stache area where the skin is pressed flat against the laser and dare I sayI also did right between my eyebrows and it did kill off some of the follicles on that area also! The IPL treatment window is too big to even attempt there without risking blinding myself. The Tria's smaller treatment area can be a con for some because it's too small for large areas like legs--but for me that's why I got both the Tria laser and the Remington IPL. I can save the precious Tria 'zaps' for smaller places like my face and armpits and the crevices of my nether regions. The Tria hurts WAY more than the Remington IPL-- I've never bothered with numbing creams but if you have thick hair in sensitive areas (like armpits or genital area) be prepared for a world of suffering! Also, the results are slow. For both IPL and Laser, you should get a really close shave --the closest you can get! After one treatment you should wait two weeks until you do another treatment. Usually around the two week mark I notice the hair can be plucked or pulled out without any give or effort-- that's how you know it affected the follicle. I will even notice in areas where hair grows fast like in my armpits that the hairs that were affected don't seem to grow as fast as ones that weren't zapped. I used to be skeptical of thr Tria laser back when it was first gaining hype and I didn't trust something that ran on battery-- I couldn't imagine it was powerful ebough or lasted long enough on a charge to get any results. After waiting years and reading different reviews of different brands and types of home hair removal systems I finally got a Tria laser and I'm glad I finally did!

It’s really working and I’m happy I purchased Tria for my attempt at being a hairless monkey!
Hello my hairy friends,I wanted to use this product for a few weeks before I wrote a review. I had been debating on buying Tria for over a year, when it went on sale I finally took the leap, best decision I’ve made on a large splurge purchase in a long time. After two treatments on my legs I was pleased to find that I didn’t need to shave after a week of watching for regrowth. I have several treatments left so I did go ahead and shave, it’s part of the prep to get zapped. Happily my legs have had the best results, my bikini line is showing progress, but not nearly as wonderful as my legs. I had some crazy stray dark hairs on my lip just under my nose, which was one of the main reasons I wanted a Tria for so long. I’m ecstatic to report that that dude hasn’t shown back up after only 2 treatments. It’s worth the money to not have to worry if I had missed that badly placed hair. Most of us have one or two strangers popping up in embarrassing places. That dude would hide too, I would check for it, walk out the door only to find him front and center in my car mirror. What a relief to have that masculine taunting crazy nuisance gone!I can’t speak to the long term claims about Tria, but I will definitely update in 6-8 months.* I must note I’m super pale with very dark hair - the product claims I have the best chances at success with my combo.A couple of bonuses I wasn’t expecting that I found were: the skin on my legs are softer and looks so smooth, goosebumps don’t cause my hairs to pop out and become scratchy stubble, blackheads are easier to remove, and the best surprise bonus of all is some of my large pores are shrinking. I don’t know if it’s temporary? I’m selfishly saying a little prayer that it’s not.I read a lot of tips and reviews before I purchased Tria and I found the idea of laying out a grid over large areas helpful, especially the first couple of uses. I’m finding now, after a couple of successful uses, that I don’t really need to continue the grid. I just use the highlighter to mark where I left off. Also, the suggestion that I shave the day before I was going to do a treatment was good advice for my legs and underarms, but definitely not for my bikini area or my face. That skin is sensitive and waiting caused it to be much more painful than other parts of my body. I have been hitting the bikini area right after I shave and that is helping with the pain. If it looks like I’m not going to get the same results as my legs, I’ll come up with a new plan. I know they have a numbing cream and that might be the trick. Turning down the strength didn’t seem to help me much with the pain, but I also wanted great results quickly (I have a big vacation in April).I have been updating my friends and family on Facebook. For me to recommend a product in this way is the highest praise I can give. A bunch of my women friends are really curious about the results and as soon as I’m sure I have lasting results, they are going to start watching for a sale too.I only gave it 4 start because I only want to give it five if the hair says disappeared, like they claim it will. I hope this review was helpful! If you are ready to purchase today, I hope y’all have the same success as I’m having.I was not paid for this review and I don’t get free products from Amazon or anyone. I worried that the reviews were planted, so far they seam legit! Happy zapping all!

Does not work.
It does not work. I contacted the company and they sent me directions to get it to work but nope, nothing. As soon as I touch the laser to my skin it shuts down. Save your money, time and effort and do NOT purchase this product.
