Undertale - PS Vita Game

That’s really no joke. For the longest time he was obsessed with trying to get me to buy him five nights at Freddy’s (I never did), and of course he’s obsessed with everything and anything Pokémon, good bad or ugly. Beyond that he’s also had a few other games that he absolutely must own because all of his friends had it. From Minecraft to fortnite, he has an excuse to not only join the Lowest common denominators but to be the Lowest common denominator. I figured if he had to have this flash in the pan game, it better be on a system where the copies are a little rare, so that it has some value after the fad completely dies a quick painful death.Even so, he had to wait a couple years to get it. If he was still interested long after all his friends had abandoned and forgotten about it, then perhaps it might actually be played, unlike his stacks of Persona, Minecraft, and Pokémon games.Well to quote the old Life cereal commercial “Look! He likes it! Hey Mikey!!!”I find it rather annoying in its 8bit retro style, I mean if you want to play 8bit games that are awesome I have stacks of NES games. Doing that style today with all the HD gaming tools that are available and simple to use seems rather cheap and lazy.... but mostly cheap.Yeah, it’s allegedly a unique artistic choice, but a lot of creators in the indie scene are choosing this allegedly unique artistic choice. The market is swamped with unique artistic 8-bit retro style games.8-bit is why I got a 16 bit Sega Genesis and threw my NES in the closet all those years ago.Oh well, he still plays over a month later, it so it must be entertaining on some level. Considering he gave up on the far superior Final Fantasy 10 on the Vita after a day, I guess that says something.
