TOP TIP: The blades need oil before first use, they will snag hairs otherwise (I learned, ouch!) use oil after every 1-2 uses/clean to maintain sharpness and avoid friction which reduces heat and wear and tear and makes them last longer, and stops? ............. snagging! (Thumbs up)My review:They do feel reasonably well made for the price, I had a Braun before this (Fort over 10 years) which was excellent and only slightly more expensive than these, but with that said i wasn't expecting life altering professional quality at this price point either. With that said they feel nice in the hand and are light, the on/off button feels sturdy enough and the main Steel trimmer head is of good quality, metal/plastic/spring components. Overall this is a good price for the trimmers alone. Snagging happened because i was impatient to try them out and should of used oil first on the blades.The value is in the extra bits, the combs and the attachments are fairly well made, The combs are actually really nice and glide through the hair and feel very comfortable (My previous Braun trimmer combs did not feel like this at all) Only real issue was the nose/ear trimmer attachment, it is like a puzzle to solve to make it fit but eventually it worked. You get a comb (like the Christmas cracker ones, they probably end up never getting used) and you get a brush for cleaning and a little bottle of Oil (I use Wahl oil anyway on my clippers and trimmers so already have a bigger bottle which i would recommend) use the oil after every 1-2 shaves after you clean them, this really does pay off in maintaining the sharpness and stops?...... snagging!.... as i said earlier.All in all it does exactly the same job as my last set so i'm happy, i would definitely recommend for the discounted price (£27 at the time of this review) as its an absolute bargain, but at full price id still say you were getting a good set here for the money.

Very good product first time using it very clean and even results

Have been using this for a few months now, and find it really easy to use.Saves me going to the barbers every week, coupled with a razor to get certain lines, this is a definite requirement in a guys beard arsenal.

This is a clipper, it clips coarse hair fine. It won’t do your head. That is not a problem.I was tricked into buying this by the Amazon app that presented it to me as a “lithium” shaver. I don’t want yet another black mark on my Amazon account (did you know they’ll ban you and steal your Prime payments if you return too much stuff? Well they have) for returning this.Useless, scummy app.

I had high expectations for the Wahl Colour Trim 8-in-1 Multigroomer, given the brand’s long-standing reputation, but unfortunately, this product was a letdown. The overall build quality feels extremely flimsy, and to make matters worse, a couple of the attachment heads don’t even fit the trimmer properly. It’s frustrating when a product doesn’t function as intended right out of the box.What’s even more disappointing is the clear downgrade in material quality. The attachments are now made from cheap, lightweight plastic, unlike the more durable metallic components Wahl used to offer a decade ago. While I understand metal may raise certain concerns like added weight or potential skin sensitivity, it was far more robust and long-lasting—especially when maintained properly. It’s disheartening to see a well-known brand cutting corners like this. I genuinely wanted this product to work as expected, but the poor quality and lack of compatibility have made it a regrettable purchase.
