I finished my jar within a year and I’m here buying my second one! This product is great for my hair, I just had to find the right way to use it. I have afro-like hair and when I need to tie it back, this gel helps provide a sleek look. I use it for work and it keeps my hair in tact for the 8 hours I’m there (and longer if required). It does clump up, but that’s the sides of the jar especially after opening the seal so maybe keep it in a warm and dry place and keep the seal shut tight. It also does gets clumpy if not used right and it is best for darker hair as it is a black gel. Washing it off is easy. If not washed right or if it’s kept in for a couple days, it’ll start to flake. The reason I didn’t give it a 5 star is because it is actually so strong that it’s not for everyday curling for my type of hair. Best for braids, sleek looks, and tight holding.
