Does anyone know what the exfoliant is in the renewal cleanser? I am hoping to avoid microbeads and harsh ingredients like apricot pits.

Corn starch. It is extremely mild. I use it with a face scrubber to get the job done.

The nourishing cleanser with royal jelly seems to be discontinued. I’ve been using it for years. How does this compare?

Is this similar to the old Renewal hibiscus and pomegranate cleanser? That was my favorite for make up removal since it doesn’t burn my eyes

Sorry I never used that but the new moisture cream is very good

Would the cleanser help with red blotchy skin?

It was helpful for me when my skin was adjusting to a prescription skin cream for my face. It didn’t sting or burn and no noticeable scent. But it isn’t an active, I would suggest a light glycolic acid cleanser or toner. That’s the only thing that cleared up my skin issues and my rough patches. There are tons out there made for sensitive skin.
