Completes the set
Yeah, it's Lloyd...Lloyd Garmadon. The Golden Master. Green Ninja. And I was kind of hoping that he'd have a skill set that would befit his status. I confess to being a bit disappointed. It's not that he's a bad character, only that he doesn't really offer anything that the other characters don't. This is to say he doesn't really have a unique or semi-rare ability. He of course has spinjitsu, but also offers stealth, deflection, acrobatics, and illumination. These are abilities that are useful, sure, but not unique. So from that perspective, you don't buy this pack to get a powerful character...you buy it so you can say "yeah, I have all the Dimensions packs."The dragon basically lets you fly around. Honestly I haven't dug too deeply into the upgrade path on the vehicle, mainly because I don't see it as a game changer.I have to say it's kind of neat to have the entire Ninjago team on the board at the same time though. I like the character since he looks cool and completes the set.Edit to add: FWIW, if you go to the LEGO Dimensions website, you can navigate to the help section and get building directions for the vehicle online by entering the product number.

Our favorite Ninjago set for Dimensions!
I was going to skip Lloyd, but my kids saw him and really wanted him. Two of my kids say "gold" is their favorite color, so they really wanted him. In game, his color is mustard. But my kids still like him. And I like his name--Lloyd sounds like such a nerdy ninja name. I can just image him tripping over himself awkwardly.Lloyd's skills are Acrobatics, Illumination, Laser Deflector, Spinjitzu, and Stealth. There's nothing special here. Really if you have any of the Ninjago packs, you have the ninja type skills already. The vehicle, the Golden Dragon, is one of the cooler vehicles. As far as abilities, it's a flying car--not really going to help you complete the game. It's basically a mini build of the Ninjago full size Golden Dragon in Lego set 70503. For build quality, I think it's a more creative use of Lego bricks than many of the vehicles. My son loves the sword wings. In fact, he's pretty excited about all three builds on this vehicle. It's been a while since he quickly built all three builds!Unless it's your only Ninjago set, this won't really help you do new things in Lego Dimensions. But he's our favorite Ninjago set for Dimensions! My kids really suggest him.

Great dragon LEGO character.
I love the Fun Pack NinjaGo sets for LEGO Dimensions with all the dragons and I think Lloyd's dragon is the best of the bunch.Lloyd himself has all the standard Ninjago powers such as stealth. Spinjitzu and others. Other than Stealth, there isn't much here needed to 100% the game but the characters are still fun to play with and owning just one can unlock the NinjaGo world hub. It's the dragon, then, that becomes the highlight of this pack. As with all LEGO Dimensions packs, the instructions for this 'vehicle' aren't included, it needs to be made as part of the game, once you place Lloyd on the Portal. You can, however, pop over to the lego.brickinstructions.com site and get all the instructions for all LEGO Dimensions sets if you prefer to build them before playing. This dragon has swords for wings and a green and gold colour scheme. The model doesn't look as good as the in-game character, but then it would be difficult to get more detail on a dragon this small. However, it's still a cool toy in itself and great to use in-game.

No instructions for Golden Dragon!
There are no instruction whatsoever on how to assemble the Golden Dragon. My grandson has a bag of LEGO pieces and now what?

This is an add-on to a $70 video game, not a stand-alone lego pack.
Instructions are not included. Instead, you are directed to "continue building using the in-game building instructions". This requires an additional $70 game purchase to play on an Xbox, Playstation or Nintendo. This is not a stand-alone lego set... It is an in-game add-on, being sold without such a notice.

No instructions for the dragon! Otherwise pleased with the set.
My boys LOVE legos, and overall my son was pleased with this set, which he used his own money to buy. The reasons for the lower rating is that the instructions are not included for the dragon. There are several different ways that you can build it, but NONE of them are included. You must look them up online and download them, which is very inconvenient and unexpected. One of the things I have appreciated about the LEGO brand is that building instructions are always included in the box. Not everyone has access to the internet to download instructions.Furthermore, to add insult to injury, there were instructions included for the Lloyd figure. As my 7 year old said, "I KNOW how to build a guy! It's just like all the others. Why did they put instructions for that and not the dragon which I've never built before?" It's a good question. We have finally found the instructions, but it was still disappointing. I can understand having some be only available online, but I still think you should include the instructions for at least one of them in the box so that children can enjoy it immediately.

The Chosen One
If you're looking for the green ninja, this is him. Lloyd AKA The Chosen One. If your child is as big of a Ninjago fan as my son is, then Lloyd is a must have. He was as easy to put together as any other lego figure. Once done, you simply jam him on his base and put him into the game. Easy peasy. As has been said before, Lloyd pretty much plays like all the other Ninjago characters--and my son has them all--Kai, Zane, Cole, Jay, even Sensei Wu and Nya. Nonetheless, their vehicles are more individualized than their game style. If you find yourself having trouble putting together whatever this thing is that Lloyd has, simply put its base in the game. I promise you, the game wont know the difference.
