The Winsor & Newton Liquin Original Medium is a fantastic medium for oil painters looking to speed up drying time while maintaining a smooth, glossy finish. This 250ml bottle lasts a long time and mixes easily with oil paints, improving fluidity without compromising color richness.

This product was to treat two new cutting boards I had received as a gift. After proper applications they look great and the texture is much improved. I also restored the handles of some utensils that had been run through the dishwasher and had the finish stripped. A little goes a long way, and this small bottle still has plenty left in it for me.

It came a little smaller than I expected, but it’s because I didn’t check the ounces. Lol. I always get the medium size. I love using linseed oil for my paintings because it’s smooth, and works well. Not sure if I would pay a premium for the brand, but I’ve used this medium for years now. There’s no color difference and the smell is faint. Pretty good value for money.

I was looking for something thatdidnt smell as much as other products and it does not fry as fast so its nice to manage the paint.

Good quality

Works well with oils to make glazes for transparency. However, it does give the oils a somewhat shiny surface; however, if you eventually varnish your oil painting after it is thoroughly dry, it will take care of that problem.

I enjoy oil painting and this oil helps greatly in the drying process
