This is my favorite jerky! I first tried it when I saw them at a gas station but ended up addicted to it ever since. I’m not a fan of jerky that has a hint of sweetness to it so this is perfect for me. I recently purchased some for my dad and he loves it as well!

Happy to have tried. Great flavor, better value than others I have tried. Black pepper & Green chili are my favorite. Mild & Hot are also good and just as advertised for that taste spectrum. The salty taste is there but I felt balanced to the type of flavors.At first I was concerned that reviews were such a swing from one star to five star. So verity pack made since to evaluate. I voted with four & five star reviews.

Great flavor and texture!

I don't get the 5 star reviews. I bought 2 boxes of this stuff, one that was only original flavor, and one that has the mix of original, green chile, and black pepper, I've tried 2 originals and the green chile, and while the flavor is good, they are SO DRY. I thought maybe I just got a dry batch at first but they are all the same. I guess some people might like this level of dryness, but if you're used to Old Trapper style jerky, this will probably be thinner and drier than you want.

Was looking for a gift for a friend who likes both good jerky and good flavor, this did not disappoint. The original was great on its own, the black pepper a little heat without being overpowering, and I can see why they double up on the green pepper flavor because it kicks without a gut burn. One assortment for my friend, one for me, four thumbs up. 👍👍👍👍
