I bought these because I wanted to connect both Sony over-the-ear headphones and Bose in-ear headphones to my iMac. When both headphones were connected, sound quality was awful (scratching noises, etc.). When only one headphone was connected sound quality was ok. So for me, these adapters definitely did not do the job.

I only have one minor issue with the pack of 3 I bought. When I try plugging in different earbuds ... it doesnt plug firmly. Just a tad loose. Otherwise I would give 4 stars.
