Baby Sleeping Sack: Soft Organic Cotton Sleep Bag, 0-12 months

We love this so much we own it in both sizes!!! A few highlights:(1) Aesthetics:As you can see from the photos this thing is really sweet and very charming. We actually don't hide ours away but rather hang it on a hook in the nursery so that it's part of the décor when it's not in use, and always readily available for naps and bedtime. The Japanese-inspired print (paradoxically, but truthfully!) reminds me so much of France! In our house our Petite Chose sleep sacks are items we will be happy to pass down to the next baby (thus justifying the price)!(2) Quality of materials and construction:This thing is so plush and comfortable, but not at all heavy. Everyone who sees it invariably says "I wish they made that in my size." It dries really quickly in the dryer (important for when baby spits up on this at nap-time and needs it again in just a couple of hours for bedtime--this thing goes on and off four times a day at our house!). The weight is great for year-round. Even in the heat of a Texas summer our baby wore this sack--as long as you have the air set to the pediatrician-recommended 70 degrees year round, this sack is the perfect weight. It also holds up beautifully to repeated washings and hasn't faded noticeably (unlike other luxury baby items that fade terribly--Aiden and Anais, I'm looking at you! baby stuff gets washed like crazy!)(3) Sleep associationsThis sack alone doesn't have any bells and whistles to induce sleep in your baby (always greet those with a skeptical eye, anyways!), but a consistent routine certainly does, and being comfy at bedtime and nap-time helps. Naps are always tricky with babies but keeping the environment similar between bedtime and nap-time has worked well for us, and using our Petite Chose establishes consistency for the babe.(4) Sizing: the age range for the sizes, just like anything for babes, is all relative. We used the small (0-12 months) until our baby was about 4 months old (at which point he weighed a little over 20 lbs and was 27"), and are currently happy in the medium/large (9-24 months) unsnapped at 6 months (over 23 lbs, 29.25") but don't estimate this size will last too far beyond the first year, if that. We are keeping our fingers crossed that they manufacture the next size in time--we will be the first in line!(5) Customer service: I wrote to the owner to ask a question and she actually wrote back, multiple times! Doesn't it feel good to support a real person's small business? And to know that the proprietor stands behind her product?

This is my daughter's all time favorite sleep sack. It's warm and soft, easy to put on, and a durable product for how much use I have gotten from it. I will also say that Catherine is wonderful at customer service, if you are having any issues whatsoever with the product. The zipper on my sleep sack broke after fair use, and she immediately proposed to replace the item. We are back in business for bedtime, and this sleep sack is one of the main reasons why our baby sleeps so well!

I am glad that we purchased this sleep sack. Our little one likes it and sleeps soundly in it. It is basically like a comforter baby can wear, which is very cozy. My little on seems to like being snuggled up in a blanket for sleep but blankets make me uncomfortable because he kicks them off or over himself. If I use blankets it is with supervision and not at night when I want to sleep. Needless to say this sleep sack solved our blanket problem. I had also purchased a Halo sleep sack which is nice but nowhere near as cozy and cush as this one.I got this at the beginning of summer. I was worried that it might be too hot for baby. I dress him in just a onesie and he seems to not be too hot. The inside is jersey knit, and the outside half velour and cotton. I like how it is adjustable and will grow with baby, and the snaps at top make it easy to put him in. It is well made and pleasing to the eye. When we started using it and noticed how comfy he was and how he slept more sound, we were sad we didn't know about this with our first child.

This baby sleeper is a great product!!!!! I bought it for my granddaughter and we loved it so much that I bought another one (in beige). The quality is excellent even after many washes, it is soft and comfortable, it looks very pretty and the best part is that the zipper is not in the middle as all the other brands are but the zipper is all around the bottom and up on the side so it is very easy to change the baby at night. I also like the snaps on the shoulders, it makes it again easier to place the baby in. It is a bit pricey compared to the other brands BUT IT IS WELL WORTH IT! The sleeper comes beautifully packaged (nice touch!). My granddaughter started using it at about 2 1/2 months after my daughter stopped swaddling her and the baby started sleeping well. She is 5 months now and I anticipate that she will be using is for a few more months. I highly recommend this product!

This sleep bag is divine. My three month old daughter was ready to transition to sleeping sans swaddle. We decided to try cold turkey. This bag is so cozy she had zero problem sleeping without a swaddle. Not only is this bag gorgeous and incredibly well made, it is perfect for all weather and sleep environments. I wish they made one for adults! Completely worth the price and for me, I am so happy to support a local Seattle company.

Well made and very cute, but could not use on my 3 month old (with a 42 percentile head) as the opening for her head was way too big and she could slide down into the sack during the night.I'm keeping the suit for when she gets bigger, but there's no way a young baby could wear this unless they had a large head.

Absolutely love this! It is a night-saver, keeping my baby warm and giving us a piece of mind, knowing he is safe, warm and super cozy! Amazing material, feels super soft and handmade from organic cotton. I want to recommend this sack to all of my friends and family, and wish I would have known about it sooner. Don’t even think about it, just buy! It is a must for everyone who has a baby.

This is the most precious AND useful sleep item we have in our nursery! Our 4 month old was waking up every 2 hours and very unhappy with his crib. A change to his eating schedule and introducing this sleep sack made all the difference! We call it the magic sleepSack - it's beautifully made, super warm and cozy and safe for the crib. Baby now sleeps for long stretches and seems super comfy!!!
