The Sims 2 Mansions & Garden Stuff Pack for The Sims 2 (PC DVD)

Mansion and Garden Stuff is the last expansion pack for The Sims 2. I bought this a long time ago from a local shop but had to buy a new copy from amazon as my previous disc became so worn through overuse (and leaving it out of it's cover -ooops) that it got cracked and stopped working. The new disc like the old work fine on my computer. I'm still playing this game on my Vista PC and I can't say for sure whether The Sims 2 works on newer windows as I just haven't tried it so be cautious and read up on it if you have a newer PC. The disc loads the game fine and you need the serial number that comes on a paper inside the game box in order to install the game but the installation was easy, pretty quick and after that you'll need the Mansion & Garden disc to play the Sims 2. The install doesn't require online activation which is a bonus. If you want to install other expansion packs be aware that you should install them in their correct order and that this is the very last pack to ever come out for the sims 2.This stuff pack, being a stuff rather than expansion pack doesn't contain too many new things and doesn't really change the base game too much. There are new mansion objects and the number of garden things is bigger which is great but there are some annoying things that happened with this install too. I can't remember whether sims reacted to the weather (sunny or cloudy) when they left the house before this expansion but I noticed it with this one. What I also noticed is that when sims look up to the sky now using their hands to shield their eyes they do it all the time no matter what they are holding. This means that my sims now carry a plate of food, or a toddler around gesture with their hands which just messes with the way it looks. Sims are then free to have a plate attached to their dangling arm or walk around like a toddler or baby is just stuck to their front, forgetting they are holding them which for me is just really weird!Despite little bugs like that which just mess with the way the game looks while you play I haven't notice any massive problems with my game like some other people have. I'd say backup you game before installing to avoid problems, it's easy now with game files stored in the documents area rather than where the game is stored. The gardens is the best feature of this new stuff pack, there's so many new shrubs and flowers to plant in the garden and I do like it because garden stuff tends to be ignored a lot in all the sims games.I'd definitely recommend this pack if you're missing the sims 2 and have all the rest of the packs. It's a great last addition to possibly the best sims game ever created!

Mit diesem Pack hat man neue Sachen für den Garten und auch für drinnen. Aber die Anzahl der neuen Sachen ist überschaubar. Zu beachten ist, dass diese CD die letzte von allen Sims2-CDs ist, d.h., dass man diese CD zum Spielen einlegen muss.

Rated as 4 stars because I bought Sims 2 Mansion and Garden Stuff as it was the only one I was missing however I was sent the Pets multi-pack expansion DVD.Excellent packaging and delivery time.Happy with my purchase.

No me gustó que el juego no traía el librito con la clave. Me gustó lo rápido que se solucionó

Nachdem das deutsche Spiel überall (sogar gebraucht) mehr als 10€ kostet, habe ich mich entschieden, es mir auf Englisch zu kaufen und siehe da, man wählt einfach am Anfang Deutsch aus und das Spiel ist ganz normal auf Deutsch. Nur das Handbuch ist auf Englisch, was aber ja bei diesem Erweiterungspack nicht so wichtig ist. Kann nur weiterempfehlen, das Spiel hier für viel weniger Geld auf Englisch zu kaufen :)
