DreamWorks Dragons, Squeeze & Growl Toothless, 10-Inch Plush Dragon with Sounds, for Kids Aged 4 and Up

The first dragon plush toy I received was clearly previously opened as returned. The back portion had scotch tape hold the back of the box together and the voice box was either dead or broken. I would hold it down and it would make a 1/2 second sound but was clearly not the intended noise. I used amazon's 'replace' option and received a new plush the next day. The second toy was unopened and the voice effects worked as anticipated. The back of this toy opens to access the voice box and there is a small switch on the left side, so it is worth being sure it is switched on before assuming it's broke. It is a nice looking toy and I am excited to gift it.

Liked that it makes a lot of different sounds But I was told by my son that it wasn’t the sounds that toothless makes. The sounds are a little bit scary like you think a regular dragon would make in a low-key way. The part that I did not like was the fabric on the whole body. It’s the kind fabric where if you have dry hands it feels like it catches on it. This toothless has no softness to any of the surface. The softness is within. It is very squishable but not at all cuddly because of the outer fabric. The franco toothless fit our criteria not this one.

My daughter goes nuts over anything Toothless, so I had to get her this one for her birthday (to go along with all the others she's collected the past few years). It is such a good size and soft to hold. The growls are adorable (even the menacing ones!), though sometimes she'll knock into Toothless at night and it'll growl. So far, it hasn't woken her up, though. Her HTTYD-loving bestie would always hold onto this one when she came over, so I got her one as well, since the price was so great! Recommended for kids who can't get enough of Toothless.

This little guy is cute, and seems well-made, but it is NOT SOFT whatsoever. It feels like it's made from felt, and everything seems to stick to it.I had hoped that this would be a stuffy that my son could snuggle with, but he rarely plays with it, I think because it's so rough. :-(

Absolutely love this dragon. The “voice” box that growls seems to be of good quality. It’s loud enough to seem like a real animal, but not so loud that it would be obnoxious or annoying. It has survived some rough and tumble play, and the fact it sits upright means it can go on the shelf after play instead of trying to stow it in an already full toy box. Bonus, the voice mechanism runs on a replaceable battery. It comes with one installed already, but it’s nice to know it can be replaced instead of tossing the thing when it dies.
