Are these SHAKERS, or boxes? I don't see any holes.

Yes these are shakers. There are holes in the top. These are really nice!

Approximately 3.5 inches tall by same width. Similar to most table salt and pepper shakers. Nice size.

How do you overcome the problem with the stopper?
