Karma Patrol Paperback – April 14, 2016

I can't say that the genre has had any interest for me in the past so I started this novel with a bit of skepticism. I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed it. There was a lot of detail about a supernatural system and the people who worked within it as well as a love story. The author was able to tie all this together in a cohesive way. It does seem like the ending came out of nowhere without many clues about the resolution before. It just kind of jumped out there on the page in the last chapter. That's a little jarring. It was well-edited and easy to read. I probably found only two typographical errors and they were minor. I hope to read more from this author. She could easily turn this novel into part of a series but it was thankfully not written in a way that leaves a cliffhanger ending.

I thought this book sounded good and, sure enough, it was a page turner. I found it close enough to the "real world" to be believable. It is exciting and fresh.If you've ever wondered why someone narrowly avoids a serious wreck, or finds a fortune, wonder no more. As a Karma agent, Jade spends her days helping people in her territory avoid that crash or find that bit of good fortune. She helps to keep the world in balance while she waits for her Soulmate. Then, all hell breaks loose.

A crime drama with a "race against the clock" element wrapped in a romance novel cloaked in a story of fantasy. Any combination of two of those makes for a good read, all three is the jackpot!The characters are all well developed, even the bit players, so much so that I'm really intrigued to see what happens next.

A former avid reader, I’ve only completed about 5 books since my eldest was born 16 years ago.I read this ENTIRE book today.It was well written, intense at times and the characters are so well developed it is as if I now know them personally.I sincerely hope there is a sequel!

A wonderful light read combining romance, peril, and even a bit of the supernatural. A wonderful debut which thankfully lacked the painful and insipid writing common to others of its genre. Perfect for my recent vacation; I read it in two sittings and was left eager for the next installment!!

I could not put this book down. I fell in love with the characters from the very beginning. The story line is funny, thought provoking and extremely well written. I'm just mad I will have to wait to a sequel! I did not want the story to end.

This book is wonderful. I grew up reading all kinds of fiction and fantasy books, but once I went to high school and then college, reading for fun faded away. Karma Patrol reminds me of those books I loved as a kid, just revamped and elevated for an older audience. Karma Patrol  is an excellent new addition to the Fantasy novel world. It's an entertaining read with excellent world building. The author has expertly woven fantasy with real life, and I love that. The characters are relate able and likable, and every chapter end leaves you wanting more. Check it out!
