Alternator
I like this product it was reasonable price I'm using it on a 2006 Grand Marquis so far so good I also paired it with the starter I also got from Amazon and both of them seem to be working fine it's been a little over a month I'm satisfied and I would recommend this product as I said earlier the prices are reasonable and the parts are brand new

Doesnt fit 2003 crown vic
States in description that it fits 2003 crown vic maybe it fits base model but doesnt fit the lx the 3 pin connection is wrong, had to return i am now going back to the parts stores from now on its just easier since you can match yours to theirs and get a lifetime warranty worth the extra money in my book

Works as expected
Its only been installed for about 3 weeks so far so good,. Shipping was however 3 days late on prime shipping and 3 calls to Amazon finally received . Not happy with the shipping because my vehicle was down waiting on alternator,suppose to come in 2 days took 5 days.

Modifications Needed 2005 CVPI
The OEM connector under the boot for my 2005 CVPI is too big for this alternator. I plugged it wedged it for the plastic, but I’m considering putting a new connector. I’ll see if it has any problems as is.

Great value, fit a 2007 Grand Marquis perfectly and the alternator held a charging voltage of 14.4.
This alternator appeared new, arrived on time and was a perfect replacement for the 16 year old part on my 2007 Grand Marquis. I'm pleased. i was seeing red battery light warning so I bought both the battery and alternator as the battery was 5 years old. Before I changed it the charging vltage was between 13.8 and 14.6 which was unstable, alarming. This one charges at exactly 14.4 without wavering. I've learned that changing the battery every 4 years or less will prevent damaging the alternator which may overheat while maintaining voltage as it's always passing high currents to maintain voltages.
