CanDo 10-0304 The Cuff Pouch Variable Wrist and Ankle Weight, 20lb, 5 x 4lb Inserts, Blue

Read the dimensions. Bought these for my 5’9” wife who weights about 180 lbs and wears a size 9 narrow shoe. The 10 lb size were WAY TOO BIG to fit around her ankles, she didn’t even attempt to try them on her wrists. We will be returning them. Well made item, but I wouldn’t consider them wrist or ankle size. The package calls them ADJUSTABLE THERAPY WEIGHT so they may be more appropriate for wearing around the waist. That may also explain why the are sold individually and not in a set as you would expect for ankle or wrist weights. I will be returning these.

Prior to ordering this product, I contacted the manufacturer to make sure this ankle weight would fit small ankles. He assured me, it would. He went so far as to say that he did not have large ankles, and it fits him. I think this thing would fit around my stomach area. When I put it on and tightened it to the max, I just stepped right out of it. Unless your ankles are absolutely huge, do not order this ankle weight!

I just received this today and there is only one ankle cuff weight! The site said a " set" under customer questions! $30 for one 5 pound adjustable cuff weight! No thanks. Sorry but I was misled and I will be returning this!!!

Writing a review because no one else did.The only competition I can find on this site is the 20lb all pro weight. So I will be comparing it to that.This weight uses sand instead of solid iron as the weights. It is therefore substantially bulkier. However, the sand does not weigh on your foot the same way that the iron bars do. It is therefore much easier to use this weight without extra padding or shoes than the all-pro.The product looks very sturdily made. The weakest part of the design is the single strap. This will probably break first, but not for a good five years or so.Although I would like to see the design improved and the price come down, I can recommend the product.
