It's not the highest-quality paper out there, but absolutely adequate for beginner to intermediate origami projects. Don't expect to be folding and unfolding repeatedly: it's not top-shelf, but it's also not printer paper. It worked very nicely for me and the series of intermediate origami cats that were birthed from it. Four out of five meows.

I bought a bunch of the Tuttle origami papers – because of the lovely patterns and double-sided paper.. While the colors and designs are beautiful, the quality of the paper is not great. It's basically like magazine pages. It's fine if you plan to do something very simple, requiring a few folds. But if you have to fold and unfold or have a bunch of folds meeting at one point, the paper wears down and tears. Or the creases show the white of the paper underneath the ink since the ink does not saturate paper -- it only sits on the surface.go all the way through
