Must have for Tesla Model Y!
Great product! Got these for our 2020 Model Y to try to save the paint from the cider blasting of a North Eastern winter! I think they look so much better than then ones sold by Tesla. They look like they are molded to suite the car and not just rubber flaps. No drilling or screwing required and it only took about 15 minutes to put all 4 on! They definitely do not look aftermarket and I am pleased that this company created these to correct Tesla’s oversight b/c these should have come on the car to begin with. I also think they give it more of an SUV look and feel then a car and I defiantly prefer an SUV. I just installed them so not sure how they hold up but they seem to be great quality for the price and they are very sturdy and solidly attached. I would buy them again and I would recommend these.

Better looking Tesla mud flaps
These mud flaps have curved edges and a contoured fit that I think looks better than the Tesla factory version. They are wide enough to block any back-spray from the wheels. They were easy to install, however the plastic trim pins on the Tesla are firmly anchored in place and it took some force to remove them. For this reason, I recommend having an auto trim removal tool set. I had a Tresalto Auto Trim Removal Set I recently bought for $12.50 on Amazon to help with the installation of a fog light on another car. It was really useful in removing the plastic trim pins. There is also one 10mm bolt that has to be removed and reinstalled for the back flaps. I used gentle pressure to remove this, as the nut that it screws into is plastic, and might be broken if too much force is applied. The only down side of this order is that it took about four weeks for the flaps to be delivered as they are shipped from China. It would be nice if they were warehoused in the US for quick delivery.

Great product, but there is a catch
Product is great and works perfectly. But installation was a bit a challenge. Model Y 2022 the right rear bolt was stripped during installation. Even with so little force applied it broke the welding and left spinning freely inside the body. Due to limited access to the nut and no way to unscrew it had to leave it as is and simply block it with some 3d printed nylon piece to avoid vibrations and noise. Hope it will not come loose. Otherwise installation is simple.

2021 Model Y MUST HAVE! This will protect your investment!
These mud flaps were on my initial purchase list before I took delivery for my Model Y Performance. These guard offer ample protect from those micro rocks that are kicked up hitting your rear fender. I still recommend getting some sort of PPF there but these really help out alot.In my opinion these mud flaps look better than OEM and this particular kit comes with 4 pieces as compared to the OEM brand which only has the 2 front and costs more. The installation was quick and easy with literally no drilling involved.I highly recommend this product for those that want save money and get a high quality product for their 2021 Model Y.

Still getting rock chips on rear door
Ok I have the model y performance with 21inch rims and road tar etc still gets kicked up on my doors. Don’t get me wrong, it’s not as bad as when I didn’t have them but I still getting splash up (see image)from my 21inch rims. Flaps need to be just a little bit lower. Installation was real easy. Just make them a little lowerAnother update:100% confirmed. These flaps definetly doesn’t work for my model y performance ( can’t comment on other Tesla models) you still get splash and rock chips as I stated before if you are getting these to eliminate the rock kick up from the front tire on the back door it will eliminate by to 80%. But you will still get rock chips on back door. Look at the images I attached. As one can see the back door still gets splatter from the front wheel. Not as bad as before but still.Update. Added another picture of Tesla oems which are much more flexible and lower to the ground. This should be much better for splash ups on rear doors. As stated before I have performance model y. Can’t speak for others. Skip these, especially for the performance model y. They are useless. One more thing. They are not flexible like oems. So is you run over something In the road it will crack. The look good but functionally is only 80% compared to OEMAnother update:Definitely get the Tesla OEMs. Since I have gotten them no more road tar on my side doors, absolutely zero kickup. Unlike this one which reduced it by 80%. .I have ran over road kill and the flaps being flexible did not break.

Get a set for your Tesla!
These are very thick and fits our Tesla 2021 Model Y. It functions as expected. We have had it on our car just over 3 years now. The build quality is good, there is a little flex to it but it’s very stiff otherwise and not flimsy ant all. The clip quality is good and coverage is good also. Our car would much dirtier if it weren’t for these mud flaps. These are nicer and has more style than the one from the car dealer.

Worth the purchase
Overall, decent mudflaps. Then look and perform as expected, however, my only issue was the facroey defect that caused a gap between the front left flap and my car. I installed it perfectly but the two mounting holes were slightly off which caused the gap.

If you live with snow these will break off
These are fine for summer. But in the winter, they are so cheap they break off in the snow. I have extra car clips I use to secure them and the flaps broke off and snapped in half due to a very little snow build up. The flaps are cheap plastic and done hold or last. Get something else unless you live in a warm climate.
