Q: Does the cap contain any plastic components?

The cap is comprised of a bamboo exterior and a white plastic interior. The white plastic does come into contact with whatever liquid you have in the bottle. I wish I knew if the white plastic was BPA-free and/or safe. Anyone?

Q: My water bottle shattered the first time i dropped it, about two weeks after i started using it. how do i get a new bottle under the 3-month warranty?

Q: Does water not get trapped under the sleeve when you wash it causing it to get gross?

No, the sleeve is removable but it also has a small hole at the bottom allowing water to go through
