Very please with everything, these came in a nice plastic case, foam insert cutout for each piece. These look very well made, tested these making a few 1 inch holes in some 3/4 plate, zipped right through with ease using my Dewalt mag drill. Definitely worth the money as other kits like this cost more than double, the cutters I bought previously were not near as sharp . Best Price was amazon with Prime!

We use these often and have lasted for alot of holes... must keep oil on them while in use! If I ever need more bits I will definitely buy again.

These are HSS bits. Good price- good results. You want great results, increased longevity- carbide, you will pay a great deal more for that great result. Maybe a domestic or European HSS bit offers some benefit in the way of geometry or chip handling but at the end of the day in a cost per hole shootout it's hard to beat the Chinese stuff.These can be sharpened. Best done by a source that has dedicated tooling to resharpen annulars, but can be done by a guy with a good eye, machinery and some patience.These are Chinese. I bet that 90% of the offshore annulars that come from the Asian rim come from the same manufacturers. Not sure but I have not seen any two that are visibly different from any other two. I pick the cheapest I can find when I need them because of that.These work best for the most part when you leave them to it. The machine and the bits work in concert to deliver a hole. If you lean on it, if you smoke them, if you are chintzy with lube then you will get the results that humans that take shortcuts tend to get. Let the machine deliver the power, let the bit do the work.Annular bits were developed for use with a magnetic drill. That marriage results in a good result and importantly, the annular bit works with the mag drill Weldon chuck to eject the slug. The benefit should be plain to anybody who has used a hole saw on a piece of plywood or a 2 by and then fussed about getting the slug out of the hole saw. You can trick a mill or a pillar or a lathe into mimicking that function with a little whittling. How much is your time worth? Otherwise you can create or buy a Weldon chuck that fits one of those machines but sacrifice the ejection function. Does it still drill a nice hole? Sure. Is it optimal? Nope.Unrequested advice. Think about acquiring a mag drill if you don't have one. The prices are daunting but the Chinese have driven down the prices by orders of magnitude. Used to be a full set of drills and a machine was a four to five thousand dollar proposition. You can get a new basic mag drill and a basic set of cutters for 500 these days.Annular bit sets? I bought this 11 bit set because it's almost redundant. If I am cutting a hole in a steel shape it's almost always to bolt something to something. A standard 6 piece set is 1/2, 9/16, 11/16, 13/16, 15/16, 1-1/16. The 1/2 is a hole for a 3/8 or a 7/16 bolt shank, the 9/16 bit for a 1/2 bolt, 11/16 for 5/8 and so forth.This 11 bit set then is kind of doubling up in that the 7/16 is for 3/8, the 1/2 is for 3/8 and 7/16, the 9/16 for 7/16 and 1/2 bolts and on and on. Plus on the rare occasion where I must have the dimension of one of the additional bits in this set, then I have it. For most home gamers though the standard 6 bit set is sufficient.

So far so good. They cut fast as hell with my Evolution EVOMAG42 mag drill. I use magic tap for a cutting fluid and these bite right in and chew through the metal like a butter.

Cuts very fast and clean

Absolute Chinese junk. I cut four holes before they burned up. Buy the Evolution bits the quality is night and day.

I only used one bit to cut 8 holes in a 1/2" plate cuts like butter. the reason I gave it 4 stars is because the cutters arrived loose in the box. other then that good cutters for the price.
