This tests positive for LEAD!
Tests positive for LEADI was making my own regimen to eliminate my candida and probably other unwanted fungi so I ordered this and made my own supersaturated solution. I read a bunch of medical looking articles. (FYI the conservative sites like webmd, etc. say to take a couple hundred micrograms; the pro iodine ones say to take 3-30(!) drops for fungal infections with each one being 30mg - 50mg! Big variations. Anyway...) As I increased it to 9-10 drops per day I started feeling sick in my nose, back and head. I stopped for a week and started increasing a drop a day again with same results. I wondered it it was fungal die off.As a painting contractor, I have been exposed to lead before and I noticed the same symptoms. Once that dawned on me, I grabbed a lead tester from the van and, sure enough, bright red!Interestingly, I was taking borax from mountain rose herbs. Says not for internal use I know, but after what I have read I am willing to test it on myself. Articles say it can help with heavy metal detox and I understand things like this are good to take with chlorella to help bind it away. Well since borax is another mining product, I started testing that too for lead. You can see in the picture the borax is the color of the test gel. The borax prevented the color change even when dripped with iodine! (The paper looks like it has some lead in it! The borax did the same with that.) I can only guess at what that really means except that there is no lead in the borax. This product says 99% pure. I assumed the 1% wasn't toxic.
