The media could not be loaded. NOTE: this is written by a 10 year old. Titanic is my favorite thing, and I had one that I broke, so I got a 2nd chance and it good. And de old 1 I had YEETed into the garbage can, anyways here’s the bad news, THE INSTRUCTIONS ARE KOREAN!!!!!, and the lights don’t work very well, good news, at least the model looks good lit ub in the dark, and details were 5 stars good.

Disclaimer: This review is for experienced plastic model builders. If you are not familiar with plastic model kits from Academy, Revell, Tamiya, etc. I do not recommend this kit. This may frustrate you to the extreme.I grew up with Academy models, so I know their triumph and misery. Based on my experience (with their kits from 80s'), the fit of this kit is amazingly good. All parts fit very nicely with only a few exceptions, although those exceptions are the more easily noticeable areas (bridges, side seams). However, this was an extremely hard kit for me, mainly because there are so many tiny parts (note the scale. This is a tiny model for the gigantic ship) that my aging hands and eyes can't handle as easily as they used to. A nice side cutter, long tweezers, and extra thin cement (e.g., Tamiya 87038) are must.The ship looks very nice, especially the with the LED. If you are a plastic model lover and don't mind working with tiny parts, you will love this kit.

Finally! A simplified, effective lighting kit that is easy to understand and accomplish for the illumination of the Academy 1:700 scale Titanic model kit! The electrical contact tapes are an easy means of completing the circuit wiring technique needed to add brilliant life to this outstanding replica of the famous ship! Very innovative and affordable as well!

It is a slow go on her. The model is slow going with a the fine details, but that is half the fun. When you get to the point it is tedious put it away. I bought a super detailing kit for it and the two are making it almost a museum quality kit. Well designed, directions could be a bit clearer but aren't badly done. Even with nippers expect to file remains of spruce as many parts sit flat on the main deck and boat deck and other boat decks.

Save your money and don’t buy these. My 8 year old just find out about the Titanic, he’s kind of obsessed right now and of course he wanted a boat. This is extremely difficult to put together and has very small parts, it will take forever to get it done. You need tweezers and glue to attach them, otherwise they will not stay in place. Smh

We bought for my son's birthday. He absolutely loves it. Everything works as described. We charged battery for about 5 hours before using. Lights work and look great at night. It is a great product.

The leds were not easy to use

I had purchased this over a year ago and sent it out of state to my granddaughter not realizing I was sent the wrong one. I went back and looked at my order because I was sure it was supposed to have lights. It was supposed to be LED but the wrong one was sent. I am very disappointed because I specifically ordered it BECAUSE OF THE LIGHTS.
