Stens Warner Electric PTO Clutch, Warner 5217-43, ea, 1

I purchased this part after buying the same thing from another seller for about $20 less. The first purchase was unstable and tended to fall apart just handling it. It also was difficult to mount and I believe the upper bearing diameter was undersized a bit. The picture shown for Stens 255-285 is what I purchased in 2013 but not what I received this time. It was the same part as the failed one from two weeks earlier but was easily installed. It has only a few hours of use. Too soon to tell - the last one failed on the second use, two weeks after installing it.One unusual problem I experienced was that in tall grass, the unit would intermittently disengage. I don't know why but it looked fine on inspection. Other than that, it is doing its job. The photo shows the new unit still wrapped and the previous one that was removed form service. They are identical except for price.

Works as advertised and with summer time coming on and the grass growing fast again it was just in time to get our cub cadet back up and running again.Easy to install and so far very reliable.

Every time I replace the drive belt, for whatever reason, I have to replace the PTO, the unit being replaced wasn't available with Prime, so I purchased the Warner unit.I worked flawlessly and is still working fine.

Good fit PTO CLUTCH for my cubcadet zrt 42. The plug was different but was easily remedied.

Exact fit. Good instructions. You'll need to figure out how to tighten it to the correct torque. I've used it for about 10 hours and so far it hasn't failed. My last one blew the lower bearing.
