I think the pull of the magnets is great. There is nearly no way it will accidentally come loose. Now these are a lot smaller than I thought! My fault for not being really good at mm sizes yet. The holes for stringing are a good size though and not too hard to see- once you know what you are looking for. The first set I pulled out had one side without the stringing hole. It really took me some time to finally realize the hole was not there. I went through the rest of them (9 others) and they were all fine. I think they were a good buy. They looked more silver to me though, not the gun metal I thought was going to be darker. The price was good and the shipping was pretty fast. I am satisfied with the product, but will probably order bigger ones next time.

I bought the rhodium clasps. They are very shiny and have a nice finish to them. They measured around a half an inch when connected and each side is about a quarter of an inch. The magnets are moderately strong with a little over 10 oz pull strength when I tested them. Great for light jewelery use.Magnetic clasps are a great option for people with dexterity issues and have a hard time with a traditional clasp.Keep in mind for bracelets with magnetic closures are not best for those working with computers and the magnets most often put the computer to sleep when worn on the right hand as that's where the magnetic switch is for the laptop screen when closed.

I am moving away soon and wanted to make each of my friends, and my sisters, matching bracelets. Each one is wire with beads spelling out messages in morse code, either "I love you" or some inside joke I had with the person. what can I say, my love language is gift giving. I made myself a bracelet with "you are loved," as these are sentimental, I wanted the wearer to be comfortable with it on, but also removable as they are made out of wire. I figured a magnet would be the easiest, quicker than putting on a watch, this part was crucial for the bracelet being something the wearer would wear regularly, as that is what I hoped my friends would do.They needed to be strong enough to withstand every day life however, which I found most magnets could not. These are PERFECT! I've been wearing mine for 3 days now, not even noticing it in my sleep, and have made it part of my routine along with my watch and rings when I shower, so I don't forget it.I removed one star because 1 broke, the ring on the end snapped while I was tightening a wire around it, never thought that would've happened. As it just so happens, I had 10 friends on my list, including me. So this made me one bracelet short. I went through the bracelets and counted out the ones I had made, and I forgot one. This was a stroke of luck (as I had been meaning to cut that friend off anyway) that I forgot hers, and instead had 9 sets. This actually happened twice, but luckily it was just one side each, thank god different magnetic sides so they still attached, so I still had 9 working pairs.

I love jewelry and I love these. It is so much easier to wear my jewelry. It’s a breeze to put on shorter necklaces, and all of my bracelets. I use them when I give gifts now too. Pass on the ease. You will be happy that you tried them especially if you are older and your hands do not work as they once did!

This is just an FYI for other jewelry makers out there. I found this magnetic clasp more likely to come off when I was whipping off a winter jacket. If you're careful and paying attention or in summer attire, this is less likely to happen. So far, I find the beadaholique clasp more secure. I also discovered that wearing the clasp on my right wrist tends to black out my laptop screen--it goes into sleep mode. I've experienced this with two different brands. It's possible wearing on the left wrist would not have the same effect but I haven't tried it. Despite all this, it's an inconspicuous clasp and good-looking and it's absolutely the ticket for bracelet clasps, which are otherwise so hard to get on.

These are well made and hold well

I find these weaker than others. Used it to make landyards & ive bought landyards with magents like these & they held up better than these. Will be on the search for other ones. So weird to see how people think they're strong!

I bought these clasps bcuz I have arthritis.(shoulders, hands) I make most of my jewelry, and I like chokers. I can't put large clasps on everything!! When I found these clasps, at the right price, I just had to get them! What a big help these are! Now I can expand my Jewelry "Wardrobe"!!
