Highly Recommend
This PSU is fantastic. Super quiet, fully modular cables with the capability of more connectors than anyone should actually ever need in a home gaming system. The modular cables means you only put in the power wiring that you currently need, eliminating excess wires hanging around in the case. This makes wire management really easy with this PSU. I researched PSUs for my new computer build pretty extensively before settling on this one. There are a lot of brands out there that put out a good product but in the last year or two Cooler Master has really stepped up their game with their PSU lines, especially with this one. This truly is Gold standard and will handle pretty much whatever you throw at it without complaint. And did I mention it really is actually very quiet.Just one tiny pet peeve I have with this unit though. The logos on the side of the PSU are written so that they are right side up with the fan on the top, ie mounted in the bottom of your case. However on the outside of the PSU next to the master power switch and AC input the company name is upside down. I know, I know. Who spends time looking at the back panel of their computer. Nobody. But I know it is there and for the life of me I can't figure out why CM would write it that way.So if you are looking to build a moderately hight end gaming PC this is the perfect PSU line for you.

Solid, Quite, Well Built
The V1000 is fully modular, plug in only the cable needed. No problems or hiccups in the month or so it has been in use, the machine never turns off except for maintenance. The V1000 seems to be well engineered, and cables well constructed. Not inexpensive, but recommended and worth the cost for someone needing this level of power supply.

V1000...very nice product.
The Pros: The fan is so quiet I never hear it at all. Fully modular covered cables. Gold efficiency rating. 5 year warranty. Very reliable so far, powering a heavily OC CPU, 2 high end GPUs and custom water cooling loop. Comes with a nice bag for the PSU and cables for storage. Price is very competitive for 1000W. This is a Seasonic platform, and one of the best in the business. The cons: Ribboned cables can be difficult to work with in tight spaces. SATA and Molex cables are short for full towers or super towers. The SATA get where they need to go, but just barely in a large case, and the molex cables were just too short, period. It took a bit of work to get the MB cables connected, it didn't just snap in place.

Quiet, plenty of power, modular snap-in cables.
I've had 2 desktop power supplies die in the last few months. Replaced both with this model. Much quieter than the old ones. This also comes with snap-in wires, so you only install the wires that you need for YOUR motherboard. I used 4 of the cables, the others are still in the box, in case I add more SATA drives or case fans. The packing is a bit too fancy. There's a cloth drawstring bag that contains all the cables, and the PSU itself comes in another 'case', which is completely useless. They could probably shave a buck or two off the price, and you'd still know it was a high-end PSU.

Five Star Rating
I got this psu over a month ago to replace my two yrs old 1000 watts psu. Visually what I can say is the metal box is a very nice and high quality material. Its fully modular feature is fantastic and very clean. I have no complaint about it. The only thing questionable regarding the quality is absolutely the graphics card cables. Those were somewhat sub par quality and stiff. But each cable has two connectors go to the graphics card and one go to the psu. So, for SLI or Xfire setup with two gpu you only use two cables, instead of four for multi rail psu. This is definitely a very big plus. Performance itself is totally awesome. There are advantages and disadvantages between single rail and multi rail psu. I prefer the single rail better. And this psu didn't give me any issue yet. I will certainly buy this very same one for my next build.

poor labeling of cables and connection points
The psu arrived ahead of schedule in excellent condition. Inside both the psu and it's cables were nicely contained in individual reusable box like bags with velcro closures. This was the 1st time in building my own computer. I found that the cables were not labeled. There was a picture of them on the box but black cables against a grey background!? It was impossible to distinguish the CPU from the PCI-E cables. It took several hours on the internet to find a descent representation. On to the PSU --- yes, it was labeled but again above 5-6 connections there was a label "[pci-e/cpu] " on the far right. It would have saved 4 hours of research time it 1) the cables had been labeled as seen in pics of the 1000W psu and a diagram of each of the connections on the PSU, again as the 1000W had. The manual was of little help since its information still did not indicate which was the cpu cable and which was the pci-e cable. Finally gave up and put the cpu cable on the far right and the pci-e cable on the far left hoping this was correct. One web site, 'tomshardware' said: "In good news it should be impossible to plug the wrong cable into the wrong socket, look carefully at the holes on the ends of the cables, they're different shapes, makes it physically impossible to plug anything in wrong." I hope they are connect. Still have not build my $2K PC so don't know the PSU's performance. Will let you know later.

Buen componente
