This knife is assembled in China, but the blade is German, and handle too. Overall very good quality. The blade is very sharp, and the handle feels good in the hand. I also wanted a knife that is dishwasher proof, and this knife has successfully been tested 4 or 5 times. Good value for money compared to the competition.

A nice looking knife but I thought I was buying a knife made in Germany - just look at the name and logo - and it says "made from German stainless steel". Look at the back of the box however and it says "Made in China" - misleading or good marketing?

Good quality general purpose kitchen knife with a FLAT GRIND blade. Full tang (blade and handle are made from one piece of steel) which makes the knife ideal for heavier cutting tasks. The back of the blade is plenty thick enough to prevent blade flexing on heavier tasks. The hard wood handle is riveted onto the tang and provides good grip even when hands are wet. Made from a midrange steel it holds a good edge and sharpens easily, mine was already perfectly sharp when delivered.I would purchase this brand of knife again.

Great knife. Slim blade with close serrated edge cuts fresh bread without tearing. Long enough to use easily with my bamboo cutting guide unlike my old 8” knife. It’s a very nice weight and has a comfortable handle. I definitely recommend this item.
